Best to worst:
Daughter
Mexican
Lawyer
Stripper
Ali Larter

The gap between 2 and 3 is noticeable, but the gap between 3 and 4 is massive.

I’ve been in corporate America for 25 years and the president of the company is a big deal and those things take a long time to negotiate buyouts and stock options, etc.

They always leave with a package and have a non compete. They act like he’s just a free agent 24 hours later meeting with chevron and has no money. Most presidents of companies will never have to work again with the package they get to leave.

true, but they keep mentioning that this corporation isn't really set up like others. it was literally designed to be sold off.
so a lot of those details that would happen in a traditional company may not happen in this one.

Cami likely doesn't even know that MTex owns that house, or even have access to any paper trails to prove she owns it.

You think those officers knew her field of expertise? She was there to scars the shite out of them which she did and I’m sure if they genuinely needed a criminal defense attorney, they would have found one.

Plus it was closely held and not a publicly traded corporation. Also, Tommy was just recently promoted unexpectedly to President by Monty's illness/death, so probably didn't have a chance to negotiate/finalize comp package.

Good finale. Wrapped up better than I thought it would.

Like a breadbasket

Really good finale. I’ll give TS credit for this, that fricker knows what a hot woman looks like. This show is full of them.

Like others have said I’m interested to see how the lease business plays out. The way Tommy and lawyer guy set stuff up seems kind of shady. Cami probably isn’t smart enough to figure out if she got screwed or not and Tommy was smart enough to get all the lawyers who would know if it wasn’t above board on his team.

When you’ve been screwed over by a crazy lady who didn’t build anything and you’ve accepted 40 million from a drug lord, your tolerance/concern over acting shady probably changes a little.

How much can Cami really do? The only reason she is in business is because of the cartel money. That is the same money funding BBT. Cartel can shut her down before she even starts to make a noise.

Cartel had a signed contract with cooper before MTX was ever in the picture

That scene where Rebecca goes to police station is total badass.

Law totally on her side as well. Knowing how feminist she is, seeing that girl get raped and the cops attitude about it probably enraged her.

On the short term. But Cami would eventually need to ha ore new attorneys. And they are going to look through everything and start seeing how fricked reverting is.

It’s real easy to start pinning all the shady things on the whole group of people that just left you (like your former president and council).

Except that she just admitted to one member of that group that she has now located the documents that would destroy MTEX.

So she’d have to decide to burn it all down and destroy everything to do anything.

With what the lawyer said to her when he resigned I'm wondering if she doesn't wind up selling it to the cartel guy. Just a guess of course

Good finale. Lots of questions that would need to be answered if there is a season 3.

1. There is no way Rebecca would leave M Tex until it went under because Tommy can't afford her

2. Tommy mentioned a several times that the FBI and IRS would be all over them for working with the cartel and you know that will happen.

3. Wonder if they will continue the romance with Rebecca and the geologist? Will she tell him M Tex will go under if he dry holes the well in 6 months? The actress who play Rebecca (Kayla Wallace) is currently pregnant and wonder if that will affect her availability.

Questions I have for next season.

When does Paigyn join the drilling crew?
How does English Kenny Loggins factor in?
When does crazy ex boyfriend of stripper show up and kick the shite out of TL?
When does Cami double down on being a Boss Bitch?

MTex is a sinking ship and she knows that. She's got money and she has nothing to lose and everything to gain jumping on this train. She doesn't have a financial stake. Also, she's going through a personal reevaluation of her life and she's developed a fondness with these people.

Regarding item 3, you promised you wouldn't tell anyone about her and my good news...we were planning to tell her folks this weekend.
