Nicely done. I'd forgotten about those.
The 'Oxycute 'em' campaign was pretty great.

Damn in all those mid to late 80’s commercials there is not one Asian, tranny, black, or interracial couple….

Hey, that's Joey Tribiani, about 7 years before Friends!

Apparently this is the longest running commercial in history. It is originally from 1970. I remember it from when I was a youngster, and have seen it (the shorter 30 second version anyway) on tv fairly recently.

There's an updated version with a new VO guy who reads the "How many licks DOES it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop? The world may never know..." tagline.
I never bothered to look up if there's a rationale behind the change, but it's disappointing to see they monkeyed with it at all.
The other two that come to mind with lasting power are the Cadbury Bunny Tryouts for Cadbury Creme Eggs and the "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" handbells one for Hershey's Kisses.
They make regular substitutions for one of the animals in the Cadbury spot every couple of years. During the Great DEI Avalanche of the early 2020s, they tried to change the Kisses spot and there was some solid public outcry against it, so they put it back as-is.
