Oh but it is. Every single major female character has rose to the top. What are the odds of that.

Lets see... Dany, Sansa, Arya, Yara, Brienne, and Cersei were literally born into noble families, so obviously they'd be at the top. Keep melting and crying, its funny.

I think it is perfectly acceptable for her character to be a bit bitchy and weary towards others

As opposed to Theon who is a little bitch. No I don’t expect Sansa to cower in fear, but I also don’t expect her to now be the smartest female in all of the north all because she was tortured.

I didn’t feel any bashing over the head with feminism really.

The Internet: I think Tyrion is being dumb here.
Sansa: Tyrion, you’re being dumb.
The Internet: Shut up you dumb bitch.

Actually when hbo pitched the idea for the show they said it was gonna be the female ghostbusters lord of the rings

REALLY.

Ghostbusters (Remake) came out in 2016.
Declaration of an all-female remake was in 2015, because before then the hope was to do a GBIII, but when Harold Ramis passed away they made a change.

GoT came out in 2011.

I don't know who these HBO guys are, but I hope they'll share with me the winners of the next few horse races.

How about in S6 when she patronizes Davos for “tricking a 8 year old” for recruiting 62 fighters while she failed to recruit any of House Glover’s men. I hated her at that point. And now all the smug look is just too much.

Remember that time she kept egging Jon on about how they needed more men, all while having a whole fricking army in her back pocket? And only pulling it out after thousands of northmen had died fighting to get her home back and depose the man who raped her and killed her brother? Never once telling Jon about it so he could’ve planned accordingly.

She still sucks.

Sansa has always sucked. It is the reason why Arya hated her when she was younger.

In totality, women have had a pretty rough go in GOT.

I guess you forgot all the dead men bodies from black water, battle of winter fell, battle of bastards. Remember all those women hide in the castle during blackwater(Cersei sipping whine), while men are expected to die on the battlefield? Men are expected to defend, do their duties and die when needed because they are men. Women aren’t expected the same thing and if asked to do so, most(besides Brienne, Arya, Ygritte ) wouldn’t accept.

Yea, this thread is ridiculous.

Initially when Arya said that I was like ehhhh, but then like you pointed out, she was talking about her big sister. If that's as heavy handed as it was, there's not much to complain about IMO.

All the main female characters survived this show so far, save for the Tyrells and Cathleen

Well that mimics World history.

While men are busy killing each other, women stay protected. Sometimes it is only the women left.

It is so female centric, that if Cersei or Danny married, they would lose power when their husband's become King.

Heck last night Cersei had to pay off a debt with her vagina, that is not very girl power friendly

Arya saying how Sansa was the smartest person she knows was cringe

In all fairness, Arya hasn’t really been around many people that would be considered “smart,” she’s been in the company of great fighters/killers.

Except, unlike history, these women weren’t protected. They endured almost the same things the men did

All the female characters are now fan service to all of the “yaaaaaaaas” feminists. Sansa, Cersei, Daenerys, and now even Arya are unbearable, to the detriment of otherwise solid male characters.
