CP3, I would suggest just watching the S5 finale. There's a lot of important stuff that goes down then and you would be relatively caught up going into tonight. It would only take you an hour and a half and you'd be good to go.
I'll do that. I'm kind of caught up with different things in season 5 so I'll just go and watch the finale

I rewatched "The Incident" last night in preparation. It's going to be a fairly unproductive work day.
I'm not doing anything in my Blaw class....I know how you feel brother.
I'm thinking after lunch I'm going to rewatch "the incident" and take a nap.

Damn, looks like I will be pissing off the wife again tonight. We just signed up for Netflix and we have The Hangover coming in tonight. She is going to have to wait until tomorrow to watch it with me, and hope that I don't get to drunk at the bash tomorrow!

Hide it from her.

I wouldn't worry about this. The Rantards are saying that we won't have anything to be excited about tomorrow.

Has anyone looked over some of the theories on Lostpedia. Some of the stuff about Jack and John are pretty legit imo.
Nope... Link?

This theory caught my eye and has stuck with me.
Why he wakes up so far inland in "Pilot, Part 1"
check it out on the link.

I think the survivors are caught in a time loop and the opening scene of the series (Jack in the woods) is the beginning of the loop. Jack is the only survivor in the woods and immediately (almost instinctively) knows in what direction the beach is located.
Damn dude...
My feeling is the series finale will have alot to do with the pilot episode and something we (the viewers) simply overlooked and didn't pay attention too.
I also believe Jack's father has some kind of closer relationship with Jacob/Nemesis and the island in general. I just can't put my finger on what exactly.

someone may have answered this earlier but does this season start like it ushally does
7pm will be a recap of what has happened up to that point
then 8-10 is the actual episode.

Correct me if I'm wrong....
But I believe 1st hour is a recap/summary and then the next 2 hours are season 6.

The writers have been saying for awhile that there are several things from the pilot and the first few episodes that will prove that they had a conclusion already worked out and they weren't "making it up as the go."

Christian is dead. Richard made in pretty clear in "The Incident" that people don't come back from the dead. All the reincarinations we see is really the Nemesis using the survivors/others to play the game.

Well...how is Christian able to speak to so many of the suriviors?
I guess in someway I want Christian to be alive....but you're most likely right Moss.

It's the Nemesis. For a while I though that both the Nemesis and Jacob could take the form of anyone, living or dead, and manipulate the survivors/others' actions. But recently, the writers said that other than "The Incident" we've never seen Jacob, either as his self or taking the form of another.
However, my theory could be shot to shite if the Cabin was acting as a prison for the Nemesis. In "The Incident," they make a point to show the broken circle of ash around the cabin and Illana says "that he (Jacob) hasn't been here for a long time and someone else has been using it." It's possible that the are setting up a scenerio where the Nemesis was imprisoned in the Cabin behind the ring of ash and Locke, unknowingly, released him when he visited the Cabin in Season Four.
This would kill my theory that the Nemesis has been taking the form of Christian to play the game, because we've been seeing Christian since the 1st episode.
