I use the streaming for TV shows, foreign films, documentaries, and indie films.

I love the streaming.

If you're looking for big blockbusters though, yeah the streaming will suck balls.

I did watch Vegas Vacation and some knock off of Journey to the Center of the Earth so I could at least say I gave it a shot. I'm cancelling today.

i'm probably going to cancel mine. not too satisfied with it. for example, i never got into the show 24 because i wanted to wait until it was over. well i started watching them and was up to season 3 when i reactivated my netflix account. they have all the season streaming. BUT... one of the disc to each season isn't available to stream. i have to put in for the disc.

I've had NetFlix for a while. It should be renamed NetFlix Classics or something else. To add to what Rag said, "new releases" are
Misleading. Just because they are new to NetFlix streaming they are not new to the subscribers. IMO, NetFlix is big enough to step it up a notch and take leadership in this area. Subscribers are not loyal. I will jump to the 1st provider that gives new releases available at a reasonable price.

That said, I think the movie industry is in deep commitments with both Cable, Satellite. & hotel industries to not let that happen to their PPV business.

The foreign film selection is really good. Streaming has also led me to a few different documentaries that I likely never would have watched otherwise.

Vudu sounds good. I have serious issues with non-HD content. In fact, I turned off all non-HD channels with the exception of some local news stations in my TIVO. If I get a shitey stream on NetFlix. I will wait until I have better bandwidth to finish watching a movie.

And nothing passes time like putting on episodes of The Office, Southpark, King of the Hill, or Family Guy.

That's about all I use it for. I've streamed a boat load of documentaries that I would not have been able to watch without buying the movie.
