If I'm remembering correctly, the biggest beef was Superman killing Zod. It was seen as a massive frick up to have Superman kill.
Well. That and letting his father die like the GD emo bitch Snyder’s Superman is. They ruined Pa Kent’s character.

Pa Kent was the greater crime. Not only his suicide, but his reluctance to allow Clark to save others because it would endanger his secret identity.
Ma and Pa Kent are the most important characters in superhero history, bar none. After the Pa Kent story, it took a lot of effort to enjoy Cavill for the rest of that film.

The fact that you don’t understand what happened in that scene or why it was important says a lot about you and your beliefs.

No. I’d say your slobbering over an utterly ridiculous scene typifies your abject stupidity.
Much like the Snyder dick you suck each morning, you too fundamentally misunderstand the character.

Lashing out in a soy outrage and using your alters to downvote me only proves my point.

9 hours to go. I’ll be piecemealing my watch of it all day tomorrow.

There are ways to watch it now if you sail the high seas.

The film is currently sitting at 77% approval from critics on Rotten Tomatoes with over 130 reviews in. For comparison, Joss Whedon's cut of the film clocked in at 40%.

He and Lois kill the Kryptonians inS Superman II after they lose their powers. Lois makes a wise crack as she sends Ursa plummetting to her death. This is such a silly complaint by people that long for the Christopher Reeve movies.

No spoilers. But from someone who thinks the first version and the DC cinematic universe is dog shite, this one wasn’t half bad. Props to Snyder for making me want a sequel. It was way too long though.

3 hours to go.
And Superman had to kill Zod in that moment in that situation. Remember Zod killed his father and then his adopted father sacrificed himself so that Clark could take his time in figuring out who he was, who he wanted to be. He's a godlike being among men. He's not like the X-Men or most Marvel heroes where they got their powers via accident or mutation. He's not only a godlike being, but he's an alien as well. Pa sacrificed himself because he knew Clark wasn't ready to handle all that would come with revealing his true nature. His fathers had given so much to make him who he was and then in that moment he saw Zod about to kill a desperate father giving every ounce of strength he had to save his own family and wasn't going to watch that monster take anyone else's parent or spouse. He absolutely did the right thing in that moment and even then, it traumatized him as you can see from his immediate response to it.
I swear some of you need your hands held and have every plot point/moment in every movie or tv show explained to you like you're 5 or you won't get it at all and trash it as being stupid or a plot hole because you have the IQ of potato.

Anyone else have these diamonds in the timeline? I count 7 total. Looks like what you would see for a commercial break on YouTube/Facebook.

Light years better than the original. Still a lot of problems. Still felt unpolished.

MoS definitely has flaws, but it’s an enjoyable movie. I got some of that in the scene he kills Zod, but the bigger takeaway, imo, from the sadness he had after he kills him is that he just killed the last of his race other than himself. It’d be a pretty heavy weight to be the one who ensures your species dies with you.

MoS has a lot of problems, but those could be overlooked if it didn't commit the cardinal sin of comic-book movies... being boring as frick. BvS was garbage, but it was sometimes fun to watch garbage. Same with the theatrical version of Justice League. They aren't movies I want to watch again, but I didn't feel like I completely wasted my time watching them. MoS was a completely joyless experience.
I'm going to try to watch the first half of the Snyder cut tonight. If that's enough to make me want to watch the second half, that's a success for my level of expectations.
