Bumped this thread because the first 3 episodes of season 2 are supposed to drop today. They may already be up, I haven't checked yet

Just finished the first 3 episodes of the new season. They are definitely setting up some crazy storylines.

The first two new episodes sucked. I'll watch the third one tonight. I believe S1 was too good to be true. They are gonna mess this show up I betcha.

I hope that’s a good thing.
I have seen a lot of shows with a great premise and well-executed first season, that totally went off the rails by adding crazy or mystical elements to the stories.

Was the new person Shailene Woodley or Grace Van Patten? I can't ever tell because I'm positive they are the same person.

I was pretty hesitant going into season 2 because I was curious how they were going to scale it but episode 3 is easily the best so far of the new season. Not going into details yet because everyone else needs to catch up but I definitely prefer the focus being on the bunker and not what’s happening outside. We received the first 3 episodes to just kind of catch us up and introduce a couple new plots, it will hopefully be a bit more cohesive going forward.

I’ll 2nd (or 3rd) that episode 3 was much better than the first two. But season 1 was still so great I’m willing to give them they benefit of the doubt.

I enjoyed the first 2 episodes. I'm not trying to hold this show to the standard of some prestige show. Its more of a network TV type show, and its really entertaining for what it is. I did find it hilarious that Collins stayed in a hospital bed for several days after a reconstructive knee surgery

Do I need to go back and rewatch season 1? Do we know about Sinatra’s side gig that’s diverting power? Ep. 3 was a little confusing, but I’m sure it will all come together in due time.

These first 3 episodes were just staging the set pieces for the season.
I do have one question. When old boy left the bunker to find his wife in the season finale wasn’t he in a much larger plane? I would have swore he took off in a plane larger than a Cessna.
