Only one person has said they didn't like the movie that saw it in this thread. Yet every positive post about the movie has a single lone downvote, likely from MK.
It would be ok to not like the movie and discuss it.
But it seems to me most negativity is from people who won't watch it.
I hope it does well and Tractenburg makes many more Predator movies.
I had high hopes for Shane Black in 2018 but he dropped the ball. This guy here you can tell read Dark Horse comics.
Opens up to many other movies.
He's expressed interest in making a movie where a Predator attacks during ww2. But I don't think that works unless it was In Asia a Predtors prefer hot climate.

Not going to lie…I kinda agree with Drinker on this one
I feel like I just got out of a marvel movie that should have came out in the middle of summer rather than November. The Android chick is super annoying and the “cute alien” addition was eye rolling. It’s got some cool action scenes and I get the appeal for it but a Predator movie should take itself more seriously. Just my opinion.
Just as a side note: I went in without watching any trailers so wasn’t quite aware of the cgi fest I was getting myself into

Just got out. Had the complete opposite experience. Great fricking movie. Great music. Great action.

I always wanted an Atari Jaguar to play the Predator game on it. I had a friend with rich parents and they had the zalien vs predator arcade game in their game room. That was a fun one to play through.

100% agree with this take. First thing I said after the movie, they marvelized it. I knew if the wife liked it and thought it was "cute" we didn't have a proper Predator

Some people are upset its not yet another Predator hunting humans easily. Until the final human kills the Predator by setting traps. You know like we've seen 4 times before.
I think the reason this movie is doing well is because the Predator has some other emotion besides hunt. It learned and adapted to survive like the humans who killed Predators in the past.
