The people who even tolerate calling this a "Predator" film, let alone enjoyed it, legitimately sicken me.

Im sorry, but Prey was so much worse. This was entertaining and rewatchable. If they would have depicted Predator in a better way appearance wise it would be much more liked IMO. That was really my only gripe.

Predator with Arnold is the GOAT and will never be replicated

Predator movies should be borderline horror movies. The first one and Prey are the only ones that meet this criteria.

Hahahaha

Wait.

Prey a scary movie

It was definitely a different predator movie, but it was fun in its’ own way. I like it and would watch again.

My sentiments exactly, I really like what trachtenberg has done for the series

The predator in Badlands was a runt he was supposed to be Culled he had to look small and weak for that to make sense. Everyone complaining Amy how he looks misses the point of why he looks like that. Before this movie a race with intergalactic space travel and high end tech was only mindless hunters. This at least started to explain who they were.

They’re not “Mindless”. They’re as advanced and intelligent as a species gets. What you thought they invented interstellar travel while hunting squirrels or something? Lmfao

Predators are sensitive beings with feelings!!!

They’ve been presented in multiple films (including the original) as highly complex beings with a moral code and societal structure. This film presents a runt who isn’t supposed to exist because he represents weakness but is spared by his brother who he had previously saved.

Thought it was kind of cool that the Synths are presented as not all that different from the Yautja in their mission and ruthless efficiency, which tracks based on what weve seen in the alien franchise (especially from David).

I'm about 45 min into this. It's not very good. The environment and animal/plant adaptations are pretty cool though.

I enjoyed it very much. It was nice to see something different from the franchise. It gave me Mando season one vibes.

I hope they continue this story line for one or two more. It was nice to see things from the predators point of view. Their culture etc. I think there is a lot to explore there with or without a runt.

It was fun for me.

The folks complaining about this movie are way too sensitive.

There is something to be said on keeping the formula the same, and just changing the setting / time period. I think we're all wanting the Feudal Japan live action as they did on the portion of Killer of Killers. Other time periods that could be cool adaptations

WWI: Trench warfare / No Mans Land
Viking Era: I'm thinking about Norseman add a youtja
Renaissance Era: maybe an Assassins Creed meets Predator

Saw a fan fiction of a predator hunting Jack the Ripper in Victorian London. That would be sweet

Well yes, you have an interesting character or creature that travels the universe. All you have to do is build it out from there and you’d have plenty to work with. What they did was fundamentally change the Predator, shite on its culture and lore to turn it into some 2026 Disney nonsense, complete with the pet creature from John Carter. When you change a thing it’s no longer that thing. This isn’t a predator movie, it’s a Disney cartoon.

I want to see a predator city. They don’t get this advanced without having cities, manufacturing, structure, etc.

It would be hilarious because there’d have to be things like predator garbage men, predator fuel station operators, etc.

That’d be funny.
