Having worked in some larger, busier ER/ED's in Dallas and Austin, Pitt is pretty realistic.
Having also worked in smaller, rural ER/ED's, the amount of pranks and shenanigans in Scrubs is not far-fetched. The lower volume of patients also lead to more conversation and attachment, and a stronger feeling of loss when things went sideways.
House is entertaining and I've watched the entire series, but not every patient vomits blood like clockwork right before the 2nd commercial break.
The most accurate thing about any of them, the ONLY accurate thing about Grey's Anatomy, is that doctors and nurses are a bunch of whores
It's not difficult to get a number or a snapchat just dropping off a patient in an ambulance. The shows don't really show how long we hang around the nurses station doing transfer of care paperwork.

ER, House and the Good Doctor are the only ones I ever watched so I'll go with those.
For me it was St. Elsewhere when I was young and then years later I watched House, which is the GOAT imo, and then The Good Doctor. I never watched ER.
Because of this thread my wife and I watched a few eps of The Pitt the last couple nights. It's pretty non-stop action which I can kinda get behind. I'm not a big drama guy, give me the meat and potatoes. However, it's a bit over the top with the wokeness. We've got all the flavors (hijab, asian, indian, B&W of course), all-knowing women, although I am surprised there's not a flaming doctor/nurse or someone in a wheelchair. Maybe that's still to come. I guess the OCD/spectrum girls hits a quota. They also made sure to have the white racist guy on the same episode as the "normal" tranny. Is it impossible to just do a show without all of the narrative being pushed? That said we're going to keep watching a bit more and hope it sticks to interesting story/cases. If it has a constant need to push a narrative we'll stop.

My mom was a nurse, so I remember seeing Quincy, St. Elsewhere and Trapper John MD episodes quite a bit.

As mentioned imo. Wasn't watching as much TV during the first ER seasons. Then it became a "too many seasons to catch up" type feeling.
