GOOD
Andor: Hands-down the best Star Wars show with killer writing and stellar acting.
The Mandalorian: Seasons 1 and 2 rock, but Season 3 drifts off, and I just can’t buy a bounty hunter juggling baby duty long-term.
MID
Ahsoka: It’s decent, mostly riding on my love for Rebels.
Skeleton Crew: Good fun for kids, does its job.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Eh, it’s fine but forgettable.
TRASH
The Acolyte: Total trainwreck with garbage writing and characters changing motives every five minutes.
The Book of Boba Fett: Just a money grab with Mando and Grogu stealing half the episodes, sidelining Boba Fatt’s own story.

Andor
Clone Wars
Rebels
Bad Batch
Mandalorian
Ahsoka
Skeleton Crew
Boba Fett
Obi Wan
Acolyte
Tales is kind of shorts that I don't consider "a show" so I didn't include that, but maybe I'd sandwich it between Mandalorian and Ashoka if I had to.

One good thing from both of them is getting to see Hayden Christensen in the role after getting some acting experience. It's clear he's a much better actor and his scenes are, honestly, among the best moments in both series.
That and Arianna Greenblatt as young Ahsoka in the flashbacks. People who didn't watch Clone Wars still get a chance to see that Ahsoka wasn't trained like a normal Jedi, both in the form of her master but also because they were in a constant state of war from the moment she began her time as a padawan. She had to be trained as a soldier first, unlike most Jedi where fighting was something they were good at but not a constant state for them.
Not to mention she was assigned a Jedi Master who was on the front lines, as opposed to one working in the archives or other temple-based role.

Kenobi was terrible. The young Leia character was so annoying, along with the inquisitor. Awful

This season of Andor has been trash thus far. My wife is typically very forgiving with tv series, and even she was finding reasons to leave the room.
The Acolyte was the one I was most excited for when it was announced. My excitement was quickly curtailed when Leslye "I Had No Idea What Harvey Was Doing" Headland was announced as the showrunner.

Rank the Star Wars shows
The Mandalorian- it's very good, started great. Primary target is the 14 yr old crowd that wants straight continuation of the original Star Wars trilogy; it's an immediate sequel, the tone and action/adventure is comparable. Some "Force" stuff, but it's more of a secondary plot, the primary excitement is Mando's combat skills. That's a great extension of the "Han Solo" genre, where you have a general bad arse who isn't a Force user.
Ahsoka and Book of Boba Fett are in that vein (both spinoffs), good supplements to Mandalorian. Best of the Boba Fett show is the Mando episodes, whereas Ahsoka goes into the Force stuff way more. Ahsoka is generally better overall than Boba Fett.
Andor is a fantastic show... if you're up for an adult, mature handling. Zero "Force" stuff, purely political intrigue and handled very well.
I don't think the "kiddie" crowd would enjoy it nearly as much, and I'm sure there are some Jedi fans who are outraged that nobody is using the Force. This show doesn't have to be Star Wars, it happens to be set within the same universe.
Skeleton Crew is similar to Andor: it's way more kid-focused, I'd say 13 and under is the target. And I'd say it's good, but not near as good FOR THAT AUDIENCE, as Andor is for it's target.
Does have some Force stuff, but not traditional... Jude Law is neither a Jedi nor a Sith, he just happens to have some 'magical abilities'. Again, it doesn't have to be in Star Wars, it just happens to be there.
Those are the shows of significance. Obi Wan was overall very meh, to bad in parts. And I just disagree with the tale they told... Leia refers to "General Kenobi". That goes back to her dad's knowledge that Kenobi was a general in the Clone Wars, and isn't actually dead as believed. He's hiding on Tatooine. That should have been left that way, not insert something pointless into the mix.
Didn't see the Acolyte, but what I hear is that it's just bad.

TBH I am having a hard time finding time to watch any TV shows these days that aren't directed at children. Need to get on it for sure.

6. Obi Wan The fight was awful.
The Vader fight? Hard disagree. It was the only thing memorable from the series.

Oh there was plenty that was memorable.

knew before opening this thread that Corinthians would be in here ranking the Acolyte preposterously high just to rile everyone up
Anyone putting acolyte below ahsoka and boba fett is just lying to themselves. Acolyte had some legit great moments. It's on par with the Solo movie, which was also pretty good

It's amazing.
2. Mandalorian
Just stop after season 2
3. Ahsoka
Has a cool, gloomy vibe and culminates in Grand Admiral Thrawn and creepy zombie stormtroopers. The stuff with Anakin and the Clone Wars was great too.
Watch these and the animated Tales series and that's all you really need. Piss poor budget killed Obi Wan

Piss poor budget killed Obi Wan
Every indication from the movies had been that Obi Wan fell off the map after fighting Anakin, and was presumed dead. He went into deep isolation on Tatooine, watching Luke (Anakin's kid). Owen wanted Obi Wan to stay the hell away from Luke, and there was some sense that everything was "so far away" from Tatooine.
Leia sends a very respectful message to "General Kenobi", and refers to his time in the Clone Wars.
Vader says "last time I was a student, now I am the master".
There's just so much stuff in the series that alters a lot of that.

The fight itself was trash, man. Throwing boulders into each other is too much. That’s one of the things wrong with modern action movies. They go so far over the top because the CGI makes it possible that it ends up being stupid. The best part of the fight - the most memorable - was when it was over and Obi Wan and Vader had the dialogue.
And on top of that, it should never have happened. Or at least it should have happened as the climax of the prequels. Not the high ground nonsense.
