Because while it SEEMS cool it’s horrible for storytelling. Nothing means anything and everything devolves into meaninglessness in a “multiverse”
Characters should be complicated. Worlds should be solid and simple.

Feige and Russos both said he’s playing Victor Von Doom, not an evil Iron Man variant.
I would bet my house RDJ is the Doom of the universe the Fantastic Four will start out in, and will be along for the ride when they get pulled into the 616 timeline when whatever happens with Galactus.
Imagine when Tom Holland Spider-Man runs into Doom thinking it’s Tony
