This is a good time to try something like this story out tbh.
With the constant complaints some give on Tony/Peter’s dynamic, and how they relate, this situation further separates the two individuals. Tony wanted it, he embraced it with open arms, he announced it himself and was proud of it. He was Iron Man in all aspects.
But Peter isn’t like that, he doesn’t want to be a public figure and celebrity, he wants that to be only Spider-Man.
Plus, he isn’t married yet. So he doesn’t have to ruin his marriage in the process.

Yeah this looks great. Might be the best one yet. Also seems like it will still somewhat focus on Peter and his friends but seems like they’re going to steer more into just Peter and Spidey. Hopefully more action as well.

That would be absolutely fricking sick but if we’re getting Ock then that means that version of GG is already dead. But That looks like one of the original Goblin bombs though and not one of the ones from the shite GG we got in Garfield’s movie.

I have a feeling they’re not going to show it in any of the trailers. Showing Ock is enough to get asses in seats just for the possibility of seeing Tobey and even Garfield.
ETA: It’s unbelievably cool we’re getting Ock and Electro and Goblin but I was holding out hope that we would get current versions of those characters for Holland’s Spidey.

The beauty of the multiverse in the MCU is that its pretty much spawned from timelines branching. So we can get Defoe Goblin and Molina Octavious. They can spawn from slightly different timelines that vary only a little bit from the OG movies. They dont have to come from the very same ones we watched, Goblin could come from a timeline where the difference is that he beat Spider-Man.
