Lots of killjoys in this thread. Season 3 was fantastic from beginning to end.
The character development this season was great. The writing on this show is top notch,

I disagree.
Hopper, Joyce, and Maury yelling all the time ruined it for me. It was hard to emotionally invest in anyone.
The character dev was weak.
I enjoyed the monsters, and the nostalgia, but it was more wild crazy running around bs. Where as season 1 and 2 has great character dev, showing what life is like for the kids and how it gets disrupted.
I’m not saying it was bad. It was weak.

That said. Liked this season more. We didn’t have to deal with that godawful Eleven side-story with the criminals. Billy went out fighting. Gonna miss that character.
