Someone on another thread here mentioned that this show had a good run and a fantastic ending.
I was a fan of Arrow and the first few seasons of The Flash. It ran too long and lost it's way. I think Arrow did too. So I avoided Superman and Lois and had not even considered giving it a chance.
BUT, based off the comments here I decided to give it a try.
I was pleasantly surprised. Sure, it's a little "Dawson's Creek" with the family drama and the kids and some of the sub-plots. But where it counts, it really did a great job. Good writing, great casting, and character arcs that actually went somewhere.
And the ending was damn good. They really nailed it. I like how they borrowed heavily from The Death of Superman graphic novel. Doomsday was a great final boss. And although I would have liked more of Lex Luthor, it was enough.
So, cheers to M/TV for suggesting this show.

My wife loves Superhero shows and I hate them. With that said, Superman and Lois is really good and I enjoyed it.

At first I thought this was referring to Lois and Clark. Very different show I’m guessing.

Definitely best portrayal of Clark Kent.
I kinda wish Supes would use a little more of his intelligence to beat the super villains. The writers mostly just have him hit harder and harder.
But when you’re Superman, that does usually solve the problem I guess.

Said it another thread, but I'll say it here.
Tyler Hoechlin (Superman) played for UC-Irvine in 2008 and made the final out at the old Alex Box when he sent a tapper back to Anthony Ranaudo.
