Batman walking so nonchalantly as he's getting shot in the chest with machine guns is a bit ridiculous.

Other than that it looks sick. Wonder why they're so adamant on not showing the riddlers face

Idk if anybody watches Titans,

But this reminds me of a scene when Dick aka Nightwing was acting all big and bad while his suit deflected gunfire. Then all of a sudden he got shot in the neck.

Lot of cringe in that trailer, that and yawning

Superhero movies are so annoying

Honestly I thought the score was amazing

Nolan’s films had amazing scores that I thought could never be topped

But this does

It’s like a Batman THEME. Instead of a movie theme.

It sounds like a nuanced take on Imperial March from Star Wars tbh

Wayne being rich enhances his relentless pursuit of the endless mission. His wealth doesn’t “make” him. If motivation or drive could be a “super” power it would manifest as Batman. It’s his drive that leads to the tech, the martial arts training, the world’s greatest detective, the dossiers, etc.

Just read that Batman will be narrating much of the movie so the audience will get his thoughts in similar way as a comic book. They had my attention now they have my money.

If true, that's either going to work extremely well and be a fantastic addition

or be really distracting and a disaster. I'm willing to give Matt Reeves the benefit of the doubt, though.

quote: Batman isn’t the smash cut karate hero. He’s supposed to be the worlds best detective Yep, I posted this in the other thread quote: Early screenings of Robert Pattinson’s #TheBatman suggest that the film will be a nearly three hour long detective noir story, with The Riddler as “sort of a Jigsaw figure”.

Please let this pan out. Please. He’s the worlds greatest detective and we’ve never really seen that play out on screen.

Is sarcasm a super power? Hang around here long enough and you'd think so.

Half serious, but I wonder if a Batman/Sherlock crossover has been attempted.

Folks here are clamoring for some display of Batman's detective work in one of these flicks, but I've gotta believe that's not what sells action figures or movie tickets. The consensus want to see Batman kick the bad guys' asses and drive a sweet car. I think a Batman movie that played more like Sherlock Holmes would be panned by audiences. To each his own, though.

100% agree - the detective thing is just something adults say so we can feel less guilty about enjoying Batman haha

The who dunnit is what made The Long Halloween awesome though. And Jensen Ackles did a fantastic job.

Maybe the Batmobile is a work in progress like the batsuit?

Yes, it’s a year two Batman. He’s got awhile to refine and perfect his tech and his techniques.
