Nice to see Whitaker taking charge and becoming more sure of himself

This show is so woke. Liberals rejoice
I didn’t think E1 was bad. While S1 was indeed a woke fest, the show was compelling enough to make that a mere annoyance. I hope that trend continues.
And I’m pretty quick to get annoyed when an agenda takes precedence over plot.

It'll definitely continue. I mean in episode one you had a a white dad beating his daughter and a white lady dumping her newborn in the bathroom
It's a good show and I think I've posted on here enough to know that I am not one to mention woke or cry about that much at all. But by the end of S1 I couldn't do anything but just laugh about it and try and ignore it and enjoy the good writing and characters. Though it's kind of hard to at times.

I would also call the woke stuff a “mere annoyance” because the show was so good otherwise.
I watched an interview with the writers and creators on CBS Sunday morning. That part isn’t changing.

the new Dr with her patient passports
I already hate her. Which is probably the point.
I'm sure she is going to have a rude awakening at some point where here system either costs a patient their life or, nearly does or she finally realizes the place is called "The Pitt" for a reason it's not some medical wonderland where everything just works out and things always go according to plan.

Good episode #2
Javadi and Ogilvy going toe to toe with a Medicine quiz bowl lightning round after round had me cracking up
Solid dick jokes thrown in.
This show flies by to me. I never check my phone and the episodes don’t really ever bog down to me .

Episode 2 dropped tonight. Alzheimers is such a cruel disease.
The pissing contests between residents is REALLY annoying. I hope that doesn’t go on all season. Same with Rabi & Al-Hashimi.
New doctor still sucks, but the AI charting is pretty cool- I bet the drug mistake that Whitaker caught is foreshadowing for something to go wrong later this season.

Jesus christ ..
It was always understood that Dr King was spectrumish, but now theyre sending her into full on convulsions...
Its amazing how quickly Hollywood writers can torpedo a series or movie

That AI system exists and already used by my local doctor

The comparisons to ER were obvious but there was something about Season 1 that made it different and its own show. So far, the new season seems like just an updated version of ER...not necessarily a bad thing, but it is pretty much following the exact formula now.

Both of the big systems in Houston (Methodist and MH) use AI for charting. Most hospital systems use it to some degree.

So, now a white person doing something wrong is woke? WTF is wrong with you? What about the main guy being white and basically a genius? Is that anti woke?

Fun fact-Nurse Dana Edwards-Katherine LaNasa is my friend Jim LaNasa's daughter (retired BR plastic surgeon). She married Dennis Hopper when she was in her early 20's. That makes me and Dennis Hopper practically 8th cousins.
Too gory for me-I bailed.
