I'm saying if this was true, Vampires would know this as a fact because her race has been around since ancient times. Vampires love them so much and rip them to shreds whenever possible, so the drinking of massive amounts of their blood has certainly happened before.

That is the books. They may not go with that in the show. Also, once again, vampires may not know this.
Just because they have feasted through history on her type does not mean they would hang out in the sun after they ripped one to shreds.
Also it may take continual feeding over time to gain the tolerance. Once again, if they rip them to shreds in the book, they would never develop the tolerance. So it can still fit within the context of the books.

There probably used to be a lot more of Sookie's type and they have been gradually killed off from overzealous vamps. This was only the second time that Bill has been out in the sun since him and Sookie started hooking up. The first time was she was being attacked by Rene -if I'm not mistaken. QSA may have sent Bill to procure Sookie and not fully explained what she was and that is why Bill was surprised when he got thrown out of the truck and didn't immediatly become a charbroiled chicken.

Great episode but I'm upset Lorena got killed, I liked her character but it was probably time for her to leave. Her whole character is just loving Bill and being a crazy bitch.

I agree with nymph, but dryads are wood nymphs. Why do you pick that over a water nymph? Just seems more fitting with the spring and Sookie drinking the water.

Predictions for Sunday anybody?
I think Sookie will go back home but will be hunted down by crackhead Debbie. Eric will go with Hadley and russell back to jackson and will send a warning to sookie via hadley that Bill is not to be trusted. Hadley will get there in time to tell Sookie about Bill just as Bill tries to come to her house to talk to her. Sookie will not let him in the house and he will have to leave. that's when Debbie will show up and hopefully Sookie will shoot her but then Debbie's other werewolf buddies will show up and attack sookie. But then Eric will show up and rescue Sookie and take her somewhere and heal her and then he will confess his love for her and she will go to kiss him but the show might end before they can even kiss. But it will be a great cliffhanger to see if they actually get to kiss or get interrupted by someone.
