Neither are worth a shite.
Varsity Blues is hilariously bad though.

the scene in the series where Voodoo, the QB from Louisiana, goes off on the coach about Texas warms my heart. I have watched it 4 or 5 times since i moved to Austin.

Why did all the assistant coaches quit too after Bud Kilmer quit?
VB over FNL movie. FNL tv show better than both.

Good question. And why was that the last game of the season? Didn't they have the playoffs?
That being said, I still maintain that Kilmer was the hero and Mox was the villain.

Yeah the same Bud Kilmer that cared so much about his players he guilted a heavily concussed teenager into playing when he had no business at all out there.
The same Bud Kilmer that was openly racist and refused to help his starting running back get to the next level
The same Bud Kilmer that threatened to tamper with a student's transcript.
what a great guy

VB was on HBO the other day and my buddy walked in and said "What's this?" Idiot. I could recognize that movie by literally any frame in the entire film.

Varsity Blues wins on almost every level.
Intentional humor, unintentional humor, quotability, absurdness, wangers on the glass of the Alano Club, pet names, and of course, teacher/strippers.
