I’ve never walked out of a theater mid movie and not returned. I’ve stopped mid movie and didn’t care to continue
Southland Tales comes to mind.
I fell asleep in the theater during The Prophecy and Lord of Illusions and I’ve never cared to go back and see what I missed.

I walked out of pain & gain halfway through it. Think that’s the only one I’ve ever walked out of.

The Incredibly Talented (boring) Mr Ripley
I had to get up several times and walk out for caffeine, sugar, anything to keep me awake. I do think maybe I finished it so maybe that doesn't count. I had to leave The Nightmare before Christmas because my seat collapsed and the floor (so sticky) sent me home for the shower lol

The Hills Have Eyes
First date with an Anne Hathaway clone (who also happened to be pretty religious) while in college.
The look she gave me while the mutant was breastfeeding, holding a gun on the baby told me we better go.
Didn’t happen that night, but eventually got laid so I guess I made the right call.

Showgirls
I think I was 17 or 18 when it came out. They carded you to watch the movie. I saw Jessie Spano's tits a couple of times and walked. That is what I came to see.

Why would you walk out after seeing her tits? Cold feet?
If you had stuck around, you’d have seen more than that.

Skipped school in high school and went to see Natural Born Killers. We didn't skip school to go see it, just what we decided to do while skipping.
But we walked out half way through. Still to this day never cared for the movie.

Tropic Thunder. Found it unfunny. Left about halfway through.
Watched Gravity for the first time a week or so ago. I would have walked out on that one, easily.

I've never walked out of a movie, but I had a blind date walk out of Holy Grail when the Black Knight got dismembered. We were both happier as a result.

I walked out of War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise. That shite was awful.
Should have walked out on Open Water but I was rooting for the sharks after a while.

We went to see Echo. Kinda like a modern day ET. My wife and daughter (5 at the time) wouldn't watch it w/o getting nauseated due to the constant movement and unsteady footage.

I remember parents thought it would be a good idea to bring their kids to Mel Gibson’s The Passion
Boy did that backfire on a lot of them

28 Weeks Later
Group of about 10 of us that were 12/13 at the time bought tickets to Shrek 3 and snuck into 28 Weeks Later instead. Someone in the theatre snitched on us and we got perp walked out of the movie
Couldn’t walk out, but took a girl from school to Valentines Day and wanted to eat a bullet the entire time. I don’t know how you can make a 2 hr movie feel like 10 hrs

Was a Woody Allen movie about 20 years ago. Went against my better judgement. Left 30 min in. That was 30 min I will never get back. Never again.

Cabin boy: we only had one car at the theater and for some reason my husband and one of our boating friends were willing to sit through this. I would have been gone after the first 15 minutes. Upside: for the next two years, whenever my husband went on a tirade about anything, I'd just say "You chose cabin boy."
We did walk out of Wicked. It just seemed so unpleasant in the beginning. It was in a multiplex and we wandered into The Good Son. It was unpleasant in a different way and really sadly memorable.

White Chicks was with my dad and he wasn’t having it. Think I picked the tickets without him the day before. 5 minutes in he nudged me and said let’s go.
Haven’t watched it since .
