But at that time in the movies, didn’t Loki have the tesseract? Like the whole reason behind Fury wanting to have the Avengers?
Nope, SHIELD did.
This took place during Iron Man 2, Incredible Hulk and Thor. Before Avengers 1 where the movie opened with Loki stealing the tesseract.

Didn’t Darren Cross have some? What would it had took for some other villain to take them from Hank. Just seems like an easy idea.
Nope, he was trying to develop them, but didn't until Ant Man 1, which took place after this episode.

This episode was great. Best episode yet. Don't know what folks are complaining about.

The voice acting to me has felt very below average for this show. For a whole lot of big names that signed up for this, they all kind of mailed it in.

Yeah. This was by far the best episode.
The first 2 didn't grab me at all.

Best ep yet. However, leaves a bunch of, “why hasn’t this happened before?” Like if that’s all it took to kill them, seems easy to have cooked up that idea as an villain.
A lot of "What If" scenarios in the comics involve things that otherwise would not work. Characters like Thor, Hulk, etc will die to things that should NEVER kill them otherwise.
Not precisely "what if" comics, but the "X kills the Marvel Universe" series typically has someone like Punisher or Deadpool killing everyone, including your Thors, Hulks, Hyperions, Captain Marvels, etc.
So yeah, it's pretty common for What If comics to depict scenarios that wouldn't be considered even possible in canon.

I don't think anyone mailed it in, not everyone is a good voice actor.
I thought this was easily the best episode so far btw. Really enjoyed the mystery behind it.

predictable
Hank Pym being the bad guy was predictable?

Loki taking the World in one day without a fight was beyond far fetched.
Why? There were no Avengers.
The 190 odd countries on the Earth dont have militaries and would give up in one day?
Without a fight??
And i havent even got to the fact its the MCU universe where they have Wakandan tech, the War Machine tech, the Ancient One and the wizards.
Also I called it being Ant Man early in the eps , he was crazy at times in the comics

Goodness man it’s a 30 min cartoon. It’s ok to suspend disbelief a bit.

Not every good voice actor is a good on-screen actor just like not every on-screen actor is a good voice actor.
There are VERY FEW that can perform about equally as well in both. Examples:
Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck, Mass Effect)
Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica, Starcraft 2)
Mark Hamill (Star Wars, Batman The Animated Series)
Gideon Emery (Teen Wolf, Wolfenstein)

And note- Loki is "Crown Prince", not "King". That means Odin is still on the throne. And someone on Earth just killed his son. Even Thanos stayed out of his business.
I suspect the Ancient One, if asked, would recommend groveling profusely, and delivering whatever Odin asks for. Probably has a fair idea of "old-school" Odin who worked with Hela prior to his reformation, and is worried he might relapse if pushed any further. The Destroyer would make quick work of War Machine, if he tried anything.
Loki probably proposed an ultimatum- surrender and join the Asgardian Empire, or be utterly destroyed from afar via the Bifrost (as he sought to do to Jotunheim). Brief demonstration for the scientists, simply by opening it to transport more troops... the astrophysicists would confirm the threat is real.

I saw someone say this before. Maybe it was on here, I'm not sure. But there's a reason for good voice-actors, they all voice like 50 different characters over a variety of different animated shows/movies.
It's a skill that not everyone has.

But Bruce is a scientist and he's never been able to figure out how to reverse or control the Hulk. So how did Hank figure it out.
I think he threw one of those little disks that increase size in his heart which made his heart grow and explode.

Yeah it seemed pretty reasonable honestly.

Easily the best episode thus far ((which isn't saying a whole lot) and had the best feel for what the old What If...? comic storylines were like. Not every story had heroes dying, but it happened enough and the reader knew this was not cannon so it was always a possibility whereas you knew they wouldn't in the comic (or if they did they would be brought back eventually).

All Asgardians are not as durable as Thor or Odin and I never said Earth would win.
Nothing you said proves that Earth would surrender in 24 hours without a fight.

The alternative is he either unleashes the Cask of Ancient Winters and freezes the planet, or uses the Bifrost to destroy the Earth from a dimension away.
