That is some old man, Dad-strength level badassery being taught right there.
Beck Brothers with paramilitary like goons at their disposal, killing the Dutton’s cows makes them reeeeeeeeeeally interesting. That dynamic should make the power struggle a good watch.
Jamie is so unnecessary to the entire story at this point. Wondering who he kills to make himself relevant: his dad or his sister?

I don’t think he’s unnecessary per se. His existence makes sense in that he’s the black sheep of the Dutton kids (as in the frick up) but also is his muscle in the courtroom. It seems like every mafia like organization has that one guy that is supposed to “stay honest” as a legal front for the organization. That’s what Corleone initially wanted for Michael.
Jamie’s problem now is he’s compromised himself as a criminal and is no longer of use to John. And even Rip is more of a favorite son to John than Jamie at this point.

I see it as now Jamie is owned by the family again. He’s just a helpful tool for the family now, not a son.

Not much Beth in this episode, that sucks.
Not really. I had enough of her shite last week. If my daughter sat down at My dinner table and started to tell me what we can or can’t talk about, I’d run her arse out of the house.
She’s sexy enough, but her portrayal of an over the top badass woman is annoying. And that’s saying something cause Jamie’s portrayal of a borderline retarded pussy is really annoying.

The problem is if you took Jamie out and just had kayce and Beth then I don’t think the show misses anything other than an extra plot line. Unless Sheridan is grooming him to really melt the frick down and kill a family member, I just don’t see him as all that important to the show

In a previous episode, there was a scene between Kayce and Dutton that alluded to Dutton being former military, like Kayce.

Pretty sure he was in Vietnam (could be wrong), I know Monica’s grandfather wears a Vietnam vet hat in one scene and I sort of figured that’s how him and John had a relationship, or at least seem to in one scene early in the series
Though John may be a little young for Nam, not sure

I don’t mind Jamie. He’s weak at times but heck he just murdered someone for the benefit of his family.
And yeah I’m done with Monica. I liked her the first half of last season but if she ran off with the swim coach never to be heard from again that’d be cool.
Glad Kayce helped Walker. Walker’s a cool cat. I like Rip too but frick pinning it on a Walker.
And not sure how but I’d like to see Beth get herself in a bind. Watch her squirm.

It's probably the best show on non-streaming right now. Absolutely worth it.

I get then damaged daughter thing but they have went overboard with her character. They should dial her down a tad. She can be very likable for more than just her nice cans.
I like a strong chick character but she cant overpower the show like she did last week..

Beth’s tits are looking nice tonight

Well that was fricking wild.

I thought this episode was a snoozer, but the last 20 minutes made this a solid episode.
