Who had this album?!
This is the song I remember most
Institutionalized
How can you say what my best interest is? What are you trying to say, I'm crazy?
When I went to your schools, I went to your churches,
I went to your institutional learning facilities?! So how can you say I'm crazy?

I Saw Your Mommy...
"I saw your mommy and your mommy's dead
I watched her as she bled
Chewed off toes on her chopped off feet
I took a picture cause I thought it was neat
But the thing I like seeing the best
Was the rodents using her hair as a nest"
Suicidal Tendencies - I Saw Your Mommy...
One of the best thrash / punk bands ever.

Do you like their alter egos, Infectious Grooves, as well?

Ice T does a funny cover of that

I listen to ST to this day. One of my favorite bands.
You need to check out their "side" project, Infectious Grooves. They were big fans of the funk scene, so they did this as a funk project to not go off brand from their Thrash Punk ST branding. It's great stuff.

Hated that song all my life, then last year suddenly it clicked and I love it now.

In the movie Encino Man with Brendan Fraser & Pauly Shore, Infectious Grooves is the band playing the prom at the end of the movie.

To be honest I knew very little material by ST. I never dug any deeper.
Bands like Dead Kennedys and Misfits all remind me of a brief phase. (I’ll call it the skateboarding phase) I only scrape the surface.
Like my brother building a half pipe in the backyard.

Robert Trujillo is a very good, well-rounded bass player.

I loved that shite as a kid.. but dont think its aged very well, to my 50+ ears... Maybe I'm biased, because I absolutely hated all of their music after this record..
I still can (and do) listen to a lot of my old hardcore records, but this one.. not so much!
