In tenth grade I went to see DMB, and they sucked. But of course, I was in tenth grade and it was DMB, and they do in fact, suck. So in retrospect, it was about right.

Mumford & Sons was disappointing.

The bluntness of that statement made me laugh. Carry on, Souljah.

I've seen Chicago. Did not like. Probably bc I don't like many of their songs. Just a boring show.

I'm fortunate enough to have not seen a bad show. I'm not a big concert person, but I've been to:

Thrice (twice)
Chevelle (twice)
Queensrÿche
Immortal Technique

and they all kicked arse.

frick y'all, I still want to see Tool.

The second Tool show at the Centroplex was pretty lame. I was bored the whole time. Saw them later that year at the NO Arena and it was slightly better but after that I was done with this band.

I went to the Houston, Centroplex and the NOLA show. Centroplex show was an identical setlist. In NOLA, they added 1 song (this was over a year later). Tool is pretty washed up. Wish I would have seen them back in the day.

These were all in the late 80's or early 90's.

Elvis Costello - played all of 1 song from Greatest hits. I knew none of his new material. Did not sound very good either.

Dylan in the zoo. Could have been any of you in a sombrero, and I would not have known the difference. No song sung with original melody. Had to hear the lyrics to know what it was.

Poi Dog Pondering. They just sucked-even when playing the songs I liked.

This one isnt even close for me.

I saw Depeche Mode at Red Rocks a few years back. The sound mix was awful, the vocals were awful, they sounded amateur at best. The stage set up was nice but couldnt save them. Awful, awful show.

RHCP back in 99' or 00', not sure which. They were dreadful. People were booing at the end

Stone Temple Pilots opened and blew them out of the water

STP was a surprisingly great live act after Weiland went through rehab the first time.

I've seen them 4 times. Once at Bonnaroo, once at Wakarusa and twice headlining their own show. I've yet to be impressed.

I really like a couple of their albums, but it doesn't translate into a good live show. Especially considering all of the hype they get.

Radiohead at Bonnaroo this past June. I swear it was like listening to a shitty mixtape.

I really enjoyed that show, but I really like the two latest albums.

My biggest letdown was RHCP the day after the above mentioned show. My expectations weren't extremely high but the new guitarist is absolutely god awful.

This. They blew me away at Voodoo. Better than NIN's set which was disappointing, although NIN wasnt bad.

RHCP sucks arse now, I wouldnt pay to see them prance around to their radio friendly cookie cutter new stuff.

The worst I've seen was Dylan. Unintelligible.

I saw Tool in Austin in 1994 @ The Terrace. That was without a doubt the best show I have ever seen. With the opening act of The Flaming Lips. I've seen them twice more in the old Orlando arena, it's just wasn't the same.

Tool has mailed it in. When I was in California I actually met a family member of Maynard's who basically told me APC is his passion while Tool was for the money. This was back in 09.

I saw them in 97 or 98 at state palace which was INCREDIBLE. Then in 01 which was also excellent. They have gotten worse ever since.

They always bring it. Saw them during that same time I was in Cali out in the desert. Even to a lame arse crowd Scottie gave it his all.

I'll second the Tool hate. I saw them in Birmingham around 2002, and Maynard kept his back to the crowd almost the entire time -- zero energy.

If you didn't already know that about Maynard and Tool then you aren't a very big Tool fan. Maynard's extreme stage fright is pretty common knowledge.
