Anymore because it's just flat depressing.

I liked sound garden, nirvana and aic 30 years ago but they just set me off now.

Not to get too morbid but the older I get I totally understand why so many musicians overdose or kill themselves.

We listen to it but these guys lived it. I can only imagine the pain these singers lived with.

I love music but sometimes it's so real and raw .

Can anyone relate?

Probably why I never liked any of the crap you just listed.
It was depressing and shitty when it was recorded 30 years ago.

I'll give you my opinion.
But my opinion is advanced.
Forty five dollars, or 30 days in the can.

That'll be cash on the barrel head son.

Not sure if depressing is the right word, but I can no longer listen to Portishead, so yes, I can relate.

My version of this is Deacon Blues. I think the song is great, but I do not like how it makes me feel.

I’m absolutely worn out on southern blues rock. I’ve heard all the classic stuff so many times, just need a break from it. The newer stuff is all so derivative and just sounds the same.
Same patterns, same boring guitar noodling over the same scales.
And I don’t really care for the newer southern rock guitar tones. They just don’t sound all that great to my ear.

As always, YMMV.

90s "artists" sure seemed to have had some miserable childhoods.
