Where did you see Robert earl?

Saw him at Sons of Herman Hall in Dallas back in the early 90s. He is standing in front of Sons of Herman on his Live album cover.

Saw grimes play a show at red star bar in BR to about 20 people.

I'm wondering if I was at that show, but had no clue who that was

I saw The National and The Walkmen at the Red Star

Also Fat Isbell with the DBTs at the original Chelseas by campus a few times.. him solo, as well..

I wasn't counting BTE.. assuming everyone in the BR ear at that time saw them multiple times before they were big... I was pretty over them by the time they broke nationally..

Jason Isbell at the Hi Tone in Memphis. 2007 I think. Tickets were $10.

I saw Keith Urban at the Red River Revel before he hit it big. He played a 13 minute guitar solo when he was covering Tulsa time by Don Williams. The man can play a guitar.

Saw Monster Magnet in a club in Munich in around '91, '92. It was hot as shite and absolutely crazy. They killed it that evening.

Saw AC/DC open for KISS on the Alive 2 tour. Had no idea who they were, but they blew KISS off the stage. Bon Scott was a fantastic front man. Saw Johnny Cougar open for KISS on the Dynasty tour in Pine Bluff, Ark.

I don`t remember if someone opened for them or not. I was wasted at that show. Pretty sure it was their first show in BR at that time. I want to say it was 2000 or 2001.

Marylin Manson was the opening act on the Downward Spiral NIN tour in the 90's, nobody had ever heard of them. Not my cup of tea but they blew up soon afterwards.

It was just another band party. Couple years later Longview is hitting big and all over MTV. I think, that weird looking lead singer looks familiar for some reason. Then later on I see an old buddy and he’s like, remember when we saw Green Day at that party?

My memory is getting pretty bad, but I think I saw The Red Hot Chili Peppers in the Union Ballroom at LSU in ‘84 or ‘85.

Incubus open for the Phunk Junkeez back in 1997.

I, and about twenty other people, saw System of a Down at Grant Street Dance Hall. They were the second act for Incubus. The guitarist was annoying; He kept drooling.

I was at that show also. Great times

Saw Muse at a club show Nashville with a 500 person capacity in 2004. Technically, they were already big in Europe but not as much in the US. Year later they were basically headlining arenas over here. Awesome, awesome show back when their music was still rock (Absolution Tour, I think).

Saw the Police at Lake Alice field in Gainesville in 1979. They were handing out “Support the Police” bumper stickers during the show. I’m kept it for several years, but lost track of it long ago
