I remember seeing all the Molly Hatchet records in my cousins collection as a kid, thinking they were something really dark and sinister... boy was I disappointed...

The original cover for Number of the Beast was meant to be the cover for the single Purgatory but their agent thought it was too good so saved it for the next album:



This was used instead for the single Purgatory:
