How safe is the Superdome area for concerts?

Never been to one there. Daughter wants to go with a friend. I want her to have fun, but I don't know what the security is like for them exiting the dome after the concert and in parking garage, then exiting and getting to the interstate.

Literally hundreds of thousands of people go each year for Saints/Pelicans games and concerts at the SKC and Champions Square. If that’s all they’re doing, and they park in one of the main parking lots/garages, they’ll be fine.

Went to see the Cure last year and it was completely safe due to the large number of people.

Very safe as long as crowds are present and she parks in a good location, e.g. in the dome or on the downtown side.

It’s fairly safe if your vehicle has bulletproof glass and you park in the Dome parking garage.

Biggest threat is car broken into in dome garage. Otherwise, should be fine.... Don't drive a truck or audi SUV and they'll leave it alone.
