quote:
Bennie and the Jets “She’s got electric boobs!”
I still hear it.

Procol Harum - “Conquistador”
This one’s a little more obscure, but when 11-year-old me heard this through my cheap transistor radio, when they sang the refrain:
“And though I hoped for something to find
I could see no maze to unwind”
My brain interpreted as:
“And though I hoped for something to buy
I could see no Eskimo Pie”

Tequila Sunrise
I heard ‘Oh, and it’s a jalapeño’
Instead of
‘Oh, and it's a hollow feelin'
When it comes down to dealin' friends’

My wife thought that Styx was singing, "Is it any wonder I've got too much dye on my hair"
ETA...this was when she was a kid...she figured it out, eventually.

When I was a little kid I used to sing along lustily to "Show Granny to the Restroom" by Black Oak Arkansas.
My older sisters were horrified.

When my daughter was 4 or 5, she thought the Paul McCartney Christmas song went "Silly, Happy, wonderful Christmas time."
She is 23 now, and we still sing that every Christmas

The first few times I heard The Smith's How Soon is Now?
I heard it as "I am and the sun and the air..."
After a while, it clicked in my head that it was "I am the son and the heir..." which makes the next line make much more sense
"of a shyness that is criminally vulgar.."

I thought Uncle Ted was singing “Catch that Screamer.”

Whiter Shade of Pale
Always thought the line "when the Miller told his tale" was "when the mirror told its tale."
Also always thought the first line of the song was "We skipped a life and angled" instead of "we skipped a light fandango."

The Peter Gabriel song where he is singing French stuff that sounds like "she's so funky man."

Same here, in fact I’m not convinced that it’s not intentional and supposed to sound that way

Dirty deeds “done dirt cheap”

Maybe about fat chicks?
