Here is the Bonner, MT venue. Brother just bought tickets. I'm jealous.

Got tickets for Bend, OR. Can’t wait until Sept. was supposed to see him and Tyler back in 2020 but ya know.

Damn. That should be a great show.

I got REALLY lucky on the S&F tour. I had two for the show in Bham and my buddy expressed interest in going (he had just recently divorced and was trying to get back to being social). My wife offered up her ticket to him because he was going to fly us up (vs me schlepping up the interstate).

Epic show. You know the rest of the schedule and timing.

Wife still grumbles about giving up her ticket, so this is partially a bit of penance.

Listened on my way to work. He nailed it IMO.

I’m kind of amazed on how many genres and sounds he can do. I was not expecting the Buffet-esque yacht rock song or the 80’s alternative song

Guitar is top tier all throughout the album

I'm only 4 songs in. I think the guy is one of a few legit musical geniuses.

Only a couple songs in and it's the best thing he's done since Sound & Fury. This feels more like him picking up from there. Dood and Juanita was ok, but just didn't stick with me.

ETA: Just finished it. Fantastic album. That guitar solo at the end of the last song was perfect.

Ends really strong with mint tea and one for the road.

one for the road gives me some meddle vibes or floyd vibes, the last 4 minutes or so of it.

Did he leave his wife and kids or bring them with?

Personally this album isn’t bad but it’s also not very exciting. Nice sound but nothing special. Will get a few more spins than Juanita and the Dood Got.

This album seems like sturgils worse version “cheap silver and solid gold” from Mike and the moonpies (I refuse to call them silverada)

Seemingly left them, but he still “keeps in touch.”
