Odesza has been high on my list for a while. I like the line up. Not blown away, but Voodoo is always a well run festival.

i think you coulda plugged in any top 15 artist right now, no matter which genre, and this lineup would be better. so boring

yeah, its not a very good lineup. We talked about going but will pass.

The only band I want to see that I haven't is Big Thief.

I've seen worse Voodoo lineups. Mumford as the headliner is pretty bad though.

Hula is happening the same weekend. Might have something to do with the lineup. I'm not that upset with it. But then again, you can't please everyone.

No clue. With Hangout fest they emailed us about the app going live. Then maybe two weeks before we got the lineup update.

APC

Was the most obvious due to the dates they already had booked around that weekend. Still cool to see it official though

mumford and sons is just lulzworthy.
I can't fricking stand them. Their music hurts my ears. Rest of the lineup is pretty solid, though.

Looking forward to Hippie Sabotage. Sat out Buku so I missed them then.

Welp. Not overwhelmed but off the bat there's about 8 on there that I wouldn't mind seeing. Some of the unknown (to me) acts are the best surprises. I'll be surfing to discover some of those mid and low-card acts. Already got the 3-day passes at a discount so I'll be there.

you can't. I have been pretty disappointed in the various festival lineups this year. I just find the headliners they are picking to be meh. Maybe i am old.

hula looks better but still not that great.

ACL will have Paul McCartney and Metallica. I'm pretty excited about that.

I am old and it is because we are old we look down on some of these fests because of the headliners. Once you accept that then it makes these fest a lot easier to digest. There are about 5 on there that I want to see. So 5 shows for a well run fest for 120 or whatever is not too shabby. I really look forward to this one because I can actually move around and enjoy myself.

To think at one point it was able to secure one of 6 spots for the Rage reunion festival circuit in 2007...

I think I'm just getting old and my rock bands aren't cool anymore.

Last time APC was at Voodoo was the closing Sunday in 2003 and the last 3 bands went QOTSA, APC, White Stripes. Coincidentally, Manson headlined that Saturday and he returns this year as well.

Maybe I just remember Voodoo wrong, but I always remember it being the "young" festival while JazzFest was the older crowd festival. I went to my first Voodoo in high school with lots of other kids my age. Yes, Voodoo had more rock but that's because rock is what was popular among young people too.

I feel like Voodoo hasn't changed the age group they're trying to appeal to; the music that age group likes has just changed. And those who still want to see rock are left upset, forgetting how young the crowd has always been at Voodoo.

Anyway, I like numerous acts on the lineup and will be going all 3 days so I'm biased af. Can't stand M&S though. Terrible headliner.
