I saw them in the parking lot of Sam’s Boat in Houston in 1985 on a Sunday afternoon.

Queen (with Freddy)
Sonny and Cher
Clapton
Billy Joel
James Taylor
The Police
Paul Simon
The Eagles
The Beach Boys
Kiss
Black Sabbath
Rush

I am not sure all of these are legends, but most are or are very close to it

I keep adding as I think of others.

I think the 5 "most legendary" on my list are:

1. McCartney
2. Sinatra
3. Ray Charles
4. Johnny Cash
5. Queen w/Freddy

McCartney because he is a Beatle. The other four because they are gone.

I've only seen about a dozen concerts in my time, but I'd only put Prince and Elvis Presley in the legend category out of the ones I've been to.

Hold on. As soon as I hit submit, I remember I saw Jerry Lee Lewis at the PMAC in the late 70s, so him too.

38 Special
ZZ Top
Uriah Heep
Iron Maiden
GnR
Judas Priest
BOC
The Police
Joan Jett

ARS
Marshall Tucker
Charlie Daniels
Cheap Trick
REO
James Cotton (opened for the Allmans in '81)
Doobies

I should have also included George Benson. He seemed legendary when I saw him. I can't even remember the last time I've heard his name now.

I know that the Tedeschi-Trucks Band is not legendary, but Derek Trucks is arguably the greatest slide guitarist I've ever heard, maybe even better than his idol, Dwayne Allman.
