I love love love me some David Lee Roth, but that is mostly charisma and sex appeal. I dont consider Elvis or Rick Springfield “front men” but solo acts, so disqualify. I can get behind Sebastian Bach and Jon Bon Jovi.

Kris Kristofferson is generally a country guy but his Border Lord album from the early '70s is definitely a southern rock album. (And a damn good one.) My wife and my sister are in agreement that in his day he was the best looking man that ever lived.
