Not on Toni’s end. Toni isn’t his only client.

Zach Lavine, for example, is coming up with the Bulls. He could insist on a sign and trade from there. Or he could force Lonzo out from Chicago.

The only other thought is Simmons. A healthy Toni with Durant and kyrie would actually be scary
that would be fine. add another headcase point guard who can’t shoot or stay healthy to the Lakers. please

I wore my pels cap around all week and tried to mess with any lakers fans I saw. I can report that nobody here cares about the lakers unless they are winning LOL

It takes the ball out of Haliburton's hands

That proposal was for a Russ trade then buyout. It wasn't about the player Russell Westbrook.

Yep this is basically just letting Halliburton grow as facilitator and opening the books a year sooner along with draft picks and trades to build around him. That’s how I see it.

This is a huge deal. If the Lakers can pull Brogdon and Hield for Westbrook, that is a huge coup for them. I can see it for the Pacers as well. They have over 40M coming off this summer. Next summer would be another 60M+ with Westbrook and Turner (unless they resign him). They should have a top 5 pick in the draft. So it's a quick rebuild/reset. I would want something more than just Westbrook though and not picks 6+ years from now. Brogdon has to have some value..

LeBron James would be very enthused by the prospect of Mark Jackson landing the Lakers head coaching job, sources tell @sam_amick . Jackson, an NBA analyst on ESPN, coached the Warriors from 2011-2014.

Is there a more dysfunctional coach LeBron could bring in than him?

The reason he hasn’t coached in years was that he was gaslighting his entire coaching staff to fight with each other in order to secure his own position.

IIRC, we ended up with one of his ex-assistants who caused a scandal by tape recording him and his bullshite to prove what was going on.

Westbrick is doing interviews and digging the hole deeper with shite he says like it was a disappointing season because he didn’t average a triple double or that he doesn’t feel the need to prove himself anymore.

While that helps out the Lakers, LeBron, and Toni, having Westbrick flake out like this so publicly also reflects on them because they traded for this idiot after LeBron met with him and signed off on it.

LeBron James is considering playing out his current contract with the Los Angeles Lakers rather than sign the two-year, $97.1 million extension available to him this offseason, according to sources that spoke with Sam Amick of The Athletic.

Westbrick is doing interviews

quote:

"When I first got here, I felt I was never given the fair chance just to be who I needed to be to help this team." Westbrook told reporters, mentioning preconceived notions as a major factor. "From top to bottom, just every aspect, because what I bring to an organization is not just basketball. "I never felt like, coming in, I had a fair chance on the basketball front, on any front."

quote:

"I have never had an issue with any of my coaches before, as much as people may assume," Westbrook said. "I have never had an issue with any coach, any players, any staff members, anybody actually... I'm not sure what his issue was with me, or I am not sure why... but I cannot really give you answer why we never really connected. That's something he has to answer. "From the get-go, it felt like I was trying to prove myself to him." As far as making adjustments was concerned, Westbrook said he knew he was going to have to make the biggest sacrifice coming to L.A, but "any situation I have been in, I have had to make the sacrifice. Whether it was in D.C. whether it was in Houston, whether it was in Oklahoma City. In actuality, I have always been able to make a sacrifice."

The most amazing part is, he's still a member of the Los Angeles Lakers

Translated as, Lebron made the trade happen. Vogel realized it was fricked, but tried to get Westbrook to change his game to be a better fit. Russ refused to change his game and when it all breaks down, he's playing dumb and just not understanding why Vogel had an issue with him or why he wasn't given a "fair chance"

The longer this circus goes on, the fewer vet players who will show up to take the minimum there.

Kind of an issue when you only have 7 guys under contract and are spending about $140m+ for them.
