If the Nets are bumped out early, I could see them shopping Irving. If he and James have made up, that could be the match.
Davis and THT for Irving and Harris.
Lakers should be able to dump Westbrook for some C level bench depth. Then they have a couple of exceptions to use. James has taken to playing Center, with the team going smaller. They could be interesting at least..

I thought from the moment I saw it there was no way it would be anything less than 30 days before that ankle gets right with the way it bent.
But I'll also be the pessimist to say I think the Lakers will still make the playoffs even if AD misses the rest of the regular season. There will be a lot of referee frickery and close wins for the Lakers down the stretch, no doubt in my mind.

quote:wouldn’t argue with that. Especially if we continue to not get it done or even if Portland goes back ti tanking like originally planned.

With Davis being out Lebrun has to log more minutes and so do the other older players on the roster. More injuries will happen. It just happens when you get older.

they may make it by default.
nobody except Portland at the end of the west is playing worth a shite. There just aren’t that many good teams in the west this year, the East has sucked up a lot of talent recently

The Spurs are dangerous. They can put up points in huge surges. They are one of the only sub .500 teams with a positive point differential. They are super young and are just having fun. I don't see them fading away anytime soon..

Would be huge if he left this offseaso.

LeBron is a free agent after next season. If he wanted to be traded this offseason, I think that could happen, but I don't see Cleveland making that trade, because they have a great young team, and LeBron would destroy their locker room and they know it.

Those laker picks are gonna be scrumptious.

He's really not very good, and won't be draft eligible until 2024, so pretty much Lebron just let everyone know he's only playing 3 more years and then he's hanging it up.

Even if Bron is washed and Bronny isn’t special, bad teams will draft him much higher than he should for 1 year of the Lebron gravy train.

And we can defer the 2024 pick to 2025.

It sucks for the kid. He could go to a great school, even an Ivy League type school. Play 4 years, make a ton of money NIL, win a championship then make the slow move to the league when he is ready. Instead he is going to try the league way too early and try to play with his dad. It's not fair.
It's strange. Cause James has lamented not being able to go to school. You would think he would want those opportunities for his kids. I don't see the upside for the son to do this..

I’m sure LeBron’s thinking is “Bronny has so much money he can afford to go wherever after he is done with what I want him to do.”
Problem is that you are only 18 once.

Exactly. I know a lot of people go to school later in life. But it's more serious at that point. It's not a real college experience. The kid could go somewhere like UCLA or Stanford, make a ton of money through social media. Have an awesome 4 year experience on very competitive teams. Become a pillar in a community.
There is just no reason to rush it. Other than to play with his dad. I remember Griffey Jr doing it with his dad. But it was a horrible Mariners team and nobody cared that much. James Jr will be at best a late 1st. They will probably push him to the G League instead of school as well. I just hate it for the kid..
