Memphis is the only team in the west that scares me

The only team i ever said "id be thankful just to win 1" was those Golden state teams years ago. None of those teams scare me like that. I actually want Denver if given the choice.

Yes. The last couple times we have played against them, they have absolutely blasted our asses to pieces

Morant is very good. JJJ is very good and is like one of 3 players that could present an issue to Zion. If Adams is healthy, he seems to give Jonas all he can handle and more. They also have a couple wing defenders for Ingram. They have 2 elite 3 point snipers in Bane and Kennard. Their coach is good. They have playoff experience.

It would be an absolute bloodbath if we met them in rd 1 with a 305 pound and rusty Zion.

No they didn’t blast our asses like you think

Zion is 4-2 against Grizzlies.

First game, we didn’t have Zion and we won.

Second game, we didnt have CJ and Bi got hurt in the 2Q.

Third game we lost because BI was out too

Pretty sure Jaren Jackson Jr was out most of the games Zion played. He's probably the best paint defender in the league and one of the few guys that can slow Zion down. A healthy Grizzlies are the last team I'd want to face in the playoffs.

the choices seem to be Denver memphis or sacto.
Adams is recovering from stem cell knee.
Clarke is out.
z Williams is 98% out.
Brooks can get a tech and miss a game.

memphis looks like the weak sister of the three.

I’m down for facing anyone if we have Zion back. And getting Jose back would be great as well.

I don't think we match up well with Denver. I would rather Memphis out of those 2.

Grizzlies would whip our asses in a series. Too physical, Ja is too bad of a matchup for us.

We should obviously want the Kings.

Not afraid of Memphis or Sacramento, and i'm pretty sure no one is.

I also don't think teams like GSW or PHX are afraid of Denver at all, and while i do'nt think we'd beat Denver, i think we have a good chance to if Zion is Zion.

Memphis is a veteran playoff team at this point though, so playing them in the playoffs isn't an easy task for anyone.

Exactly. I think Herb can slow down Ja enough especially if we can show the refs how much of an advantage they let him have by his blatant carrying damn near every play. Jose possibly coming back would be huge

Warriors are going to be good again with Wiggins back.

Kings can be a sneaky good team if they hit their threes.

Minnesota can also give us fits if Naz Reid comes back.

Nuggets seem to do well against us and we shouldn’t count them out either especially if MPJ doesn’t go like 0/7 3s like he did. Plus it’s in high altitude which is a disadvantage for us.

Suns are undefeated with KD.

I’m confident we can beat any team healthy if we play our game and not theirs.

I think Sacramento is our best match up, but I would much rather play the Grizzlies in the first round than the Suns or Warriors.

I don't see Sacramento or Memphis getting out of the first round against any of the teams currently in 5th through 8th.

We're 1-5 against Memphis in our last 6 meetings.

And I get it, some of those games we weren't at full strength, but neither were they for some. Also, some of our losses to them were absolute beatdowns.

They are a terrible matchup for us because they are long and physical like us, but are much better offensively.
