Joel starts out saying NOLA had offer out to boogie for over a week for more money and that boogie didn’t like the 2nd year option
Spears gets defensive and says he’s only repeating what boogie told him. Boogie told him dell didn’t want him. Spears wants to know what this offer was and Joel said he would tell him off the air

Bad teams cut players all the time.

He says the offer was made before seasons end and when Boogie didn't agree, the Pels pulled the offer and that was that.
So one of them are wrong.

IF he truly got a 2yr 40m offer and turned it down because only wanted a 1 yr deal, ok.
If he then got a 1 yr 13m offer and then turned it down, only to accept a 1yr 5.3m deal then he is the dumbest mfer I've ever seen.

Which is stupid on his part.
1. He had every opportunity in Sac to have a team around him. It was "his team" and he did it "his way" and was a failure.
2. The team he just went to, it will never be his team.
By all means he can do what he wants. The league seems tired of his act with or without the injury

Do u really think they didn't offer him a contract like seriously. If we didn't offer him shite why would he call golden State. He was pissed at us for what he thought was a lowball especially after offering more during the season.

Meyers didn’t get into specifics. Even if the 2/40 was at the end of the season, it was Post Achilles injury and that’s all that really matters in this “who looks bad” game
