Sources: Charlotte's offering No. 22 - if team will take contract of Spencer Hawes or Jeremy Lamb. Hornets need space to re-sign free agents
I would like Lamb and 22, pls
Posted on 6/23/16 at 8:01 am to MrPappagiorgio

Posted on 6/23/16 at 8:04 am to MrPappagiorgio
Would gladly take that

Three-way trade with Philly?
Philly gets: Tyreke
NOP gets: 22, Jeremy Lamb, & 24
Hornets get: 2 future seconds
We can then take 24 and flip it for another vet

I don't know if Philly is interested in that, but if they are it's the only way I do it. Lamb is slated to make $6-$7 million per over the next 3 years, which isn't terrible for a back up, but you wouldn't want a backup blowing up your FA plans this season. If we do the trade directly with Charlotte taking Lamb into cap space I'd need to know what our FA plans are/were before doing it.

The only other deal I do is...
NOP gets: 22 & Ben McLemore
SAC gets: Evans & Lamb
CHA gets: 2 2nd rounders
This is more feasible probably

Why would they take Evans back?
Posted on 6/23/16 at 8:31 am to JayJay2
They need a PG and Evans would actually fit Joerger's offense

That is a more realistic move, Tyreke can replace Rondo. But that leaves Sac with only $14 million in cap space and they still want Ryno. Not sure how they resolve that one, and I think we want them throwing a lot of money at Ryno so we can both move on.

Normally teams wouldn't have a Part 2 of a deal that is dependent on an FA choosing them, but in this case with Ryno I think Sac would have to feel pretty confident in signing him if they had the cap space and we promised not to make an offer.
Do we want Rudy Gay? Otherwise it'd have to be Collison and Belinelli. They also might have a decent chance of dumping Koufos if the prices for guys like Pachulia and Biyombo is crazy. Koufos at $8 is way better than a comparable guy for $12-$17.

No thanks.
Collison charged with domestic violence

He's from New Orleans! Let's all lose our shite over him!

seems like we hear this every year about him..."he just need minutes", yet every place he goes he can never get in the games

So G. Hill basically got traded for the 12th pick? He is a borderline starter with an expiring contract. Wouldn't Evans have at least equal value?
Posted on 6/23/16 at 9:20 am to MrPappagiorgio
Heck, I would take Hawes and 22. Hawes could be our bench stretch 4 and is only on the books for $5.8 million next season and a player option after that. Send them Douglass (not guaranteed) or a future top-55 protected 2nd rounder in exchange.

Hill is a better player when you consider both ends of the court, a better teammate, and could actually pass a physical today
I would say the other 29 teams, on average, would say Hill has 2-3 times more value than Tyreke
