He seems to be a very competitive guy. I find it very easy to believe that he could just be afraid of hurting it again and missing significant time so he wants to make sure that the knee feels 100% before he starts playing in games. No matter what a doctor says, you have the best knowledge of what's going on with your body. If he feels that playing immediately could lead to further damage then he needs to sit out. He's got a long time left on that contract.

Unless you tell us you're retiring or going to a better doctor then you're telling us you've demanded a trade. More rest is not the answer here.

I don't think he really means that. Could've been a poor choice of words or he might've been overly dramatic about it since he was significantly hurt last year. We'll just have to wait and see.
