I don't think he really means that. Could've been a poor choice of words or he might've been overly dramatic about it since he was significantly hurt last year. We'll just have to wait and see.
has he every not had a poor choice of words since being traded. It seems like he opens his mouth and it's always a poor choice of words.

lol, you're immature if you truly think that.
I understand being upset that your best player has been hurt, but come on.
Booing him, suggesting that he is faking an injury, etc, does no good if he is indeed truly hurt and wants to be here.
to me the contract doesnt look bad because he is injured. It looks bad because there is no shot that Gordon plays here because the fans crusaded against him since day 1. Which is ridiculous if you think about it

What would have happened if he was chosen to play in the Olympics this summer?

There's no way he wants to be here, and it has nothing to do with the fans booing him. That only happened yesterday. Last year, people for the most part were in tank mode and didn't care if Gordon came back. The guy rarely was around the team, and when he was he was watching NCAAB.

Eric Gordon update...he says no timetable for his return AND wouldn't rule out missing entire season
Well, never mind. What the hell would cause him to miss the entire season? Really hope he's just being dramatic. If he has to miss an entire season then the entire medical staff needs to go.

He's a troll, just let him go.

suggesting that he is faking an injury
If he's got an injury that is preventing him from playing and the Hornets doctors can't figure it out, then both Gordon and the team should be sending him elsewhere to be evaluated. If that doesn't happen, and there's been no mention of that so far, then I think him faking is the reasonable conclusion.

No no let's be a sports fan with knowledge..Olympic tryouts aren't really bball anyway...so he hasn't really played in awhile. I say give him all time he needs.
so you think he doesnt play BBALL between Olympic qualifying & training camp? no chance to re injure himself?

Ya it's the medical staff

His coach is not so subtlety hinting at that.

It looks bad to give 58 mil to a guy who's missed 58 games and counting.

Gordon was suppose to be the face of the franchise. He has not received very much criticism when considering the whole situation.

If he was with the Suns he would play.
FACT
FACT

Well Chris Paul seems to be having less injury issues as well now that he's somewhere else.

So has he mentioned even trying to participate in practice anytime in the near future? Or does it sound as if he is leaning towards this missing the entire season thing?

James Andrews is where he needs to be and he's only two states over in Birmingham, unless he moved

And team doctors have never been wrong before?
Luol Deng's stress fracture would like to rebuttal.
Just saying.

Exactly. None of the criticism is unwarranted or unfair.

This is just fricking bizarre. Something just doesn't smell right. I've been preaching "don't jump to crazy message board rumors and conclusions." But, shite, this all just seems really fricking weird.

In a bit of a contradictory appearance before the media post-practice on Thursday, New Orleans Hornets shooting guard Eric Gordon conceded that physicians determined there is some damage causing the pain in his right knee, though Gordon said initially there was no structural compromise.
Gordon admitted he experienced a setback at some point between the U.S. Olympic Basketball Team trials and the time he reported for training camp on Oct. 1, which has prevented him from participating in any of the Hornets' preseason schedule.
"I'd say sorta," Gordon said. "From talking to the doctors, from when I last told you guys in September until now, I have a little bit of a setback as far as this injury. Nothing structural, but it has been a little bit of soreness and swelling to where I'm only listening to the doctors and they can see and tell that it's been a little damage.
"I've had MRIs, and I went to the team and they've always been aware of my injury. I have had MRIs lately, so I'm looking forward to seeing what's happening this weekend to see what's furthermore. .. . I will hear what the doctor's thinking this weekend."
