Might wanna revisit how we got #23.

What the frick does that have to do with the Queen trade? That's a serious question. We traded a lottery 1st and #23 for Queen.

We didn't trade 2 lottery picks for Queen. We didn't have 2 lottery picks when we traded for Queen.

At this point just blame AD or CP3 for Queen if y'all are going to be that ridiculously obtuse.

I've also stated several times that Hali was a freak accident and they were just in the championship. It was not a bad trade at all until hindsight. And that sucks but it doesn't mean it was a brain dead trade.

If the Pacers don't get their pick back then they probably don't let go of Turner and try to get help.

The Pacers aren't this bad without their pick. Its a butterfly affect that y'all refuse to accept or understand.

Anything and everything to support a 1 sided pessimistic view of the Pels existence.

Something can suck after the fact and still be a good move in the moment. Not everything is the end of the world.

#23 for a team that in the Championship is not crazy.

Lottery 1st + #23 is pretty damn good for a Top 5 redraft player at #13.

If you want to be upset that the Pelicans fricking suck then by all means go ahead. You should not over-scrutinize 2 trades that really weren't bad at face value and a GM that actually has the balls to be aggressive.

We traded a 2026 top 4 protected pick for #23. It has everything to do with it.

You seem to have forgotten the facts that most on here expressed when dumbass Dumars traded the pick back to the Pacers. Haliburton was already hurt and was warned that continuing to play could lead to further signficant injury (as had happened repeatedly with past stars). He said he would risk it for a championship. Dumars rushed to trade the pick back to the Pacers instead of waiting for the series to end in a few days. Haliburton, as warned, blew his achilles. There was nothing freak about his injury. It was predicted.

Pacers certainly are this bad without their pick. They maxed out what they were willing to pay Turner and he was insulted. As much as we all hope that Queen will become a star (which is nowhere near a given), it is almost impossible for him to become anywhere near the player that warranted that ridiculous trade.

Well the Pelicans don’t have their pick and are this bad. So maybe the pacers would be this bad without this pick.

Or maybe the pessimistic view of the Pels is just the realistic view of the Pels.

Team sucks. The Queen trade is an unfolding disaster.

Don’t trade a unprotected first when:

1. You don’t have a PG
2. You don’t have a prove coach
3. You don’t have a center

I think the part that gets me about this team is that the roster has no direction and doesn’t fit. We seem to be catering to the older team core with Zion, Trey, and Herb but also have a new core of Queen and Fears.

Honestly, this needs to cut bait with Zion and Herb and get what you can for a rebuild. Also, Trey should be had for a Bane package. But I have no clue what Dumars is thinking.

I still like the aggressiveness to get the talents of Fears/ Queen.

Is aggresive the correct word for giving way the frick more than you needed to to facillitate the trade up? Still white knighting for Joe on this one I see; at least you're consistent.
