There's no need for more data imo. You just can't have your two best players not be able to shoot 3s and not play defense. They will never win a championship together as the first and second option. They just need to pick one guy and properly build around one of them.

And pending health- huge if- that guy from a talent and efficiency standpoint is probably Zion.

Yep, it just doesn't work in today's NBA.

For the record I just think Zion is not an easy player to build around, and im not even talking about the injuries.

An undersized 4 who is a god at getting to the rim and finishing, has good playmaking but no outside game whatsoever, isn't a great rebounder and is at his best ok on defense.

He's giannis on offense without the rebounding and DPOY level defense that makes Giannis truly elite.

One thing that is disconcerting is we are in game 8 and have started two guys who were signed off the street a few days before. What kind of roster construction do you have when you are starting Jeremiah Robinson-Earl 5 days after you sign him to a two-way contract?

We were down 6 players yesterday. Not many, if any, teams in the NBA could put together a good starting 5 down that many of your top players.

Yesterdays game, even with the injuries to our roster, should put any JV hope to bed. Not only did he shite the bed on offense on multiple bunnies, Gobert PUSHED his shite in. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen someone get so thoroughly dominated on the boards. Every time they actually missed (which was rare), there was Gobert to slam it down. If we can’t get a mobile rim protector, the season is over. We made the Timberwolves roster construction look like a legendary team.
Also why the hell was KAT wide open from 3 every time? I swear he drove to the basket maybe one time on the night

No shite.
The point is we are 8 games into the season and there's 6 main guys not playing, 5 of them due to injury, and the 6th already sat out a game to rest his fatass.
This is just ridiculous. What other team is missing this many rotational players to start the season?
8 games into the season and we already have racked up 32 games missed by rotational players this season.
The Kings had 36 missed games by their top 8 players all of last season.

Honestly I just don’t care, still love the team but I’m not going to get trapped again lol. I basically watch their games like old episodes of the office. Sure I’ve seen it a hundred times, but it’s still fun from time to time. When it’s not fun, it’s good for background noise lol

The point I was responding to was questioning Griffin's roster construction.

I'll remain pessimistic until a complete overhaul is done.

How are you guys feeling about this season?

Optimistic or Pessimistic?

Thank we can turn it around? Do you still care?

Punted on my season tickets after 10 years when they sent out a 25% price increase after a one month losing streak.

Refuse to give Sinclair $19.99/month to help them stave off bankruptcy.

I'm left watching the highlight package on YouTube the next morning - which, sorta feels like the effort our top two players give anyway.

It all feels like the right call.

I care, but the team (from the top down) sure as frick don't look like they care about us.

Year 5 of this regime. Patience is in short supply. Flaws seem evident, but they can avoid admitting them citing injuries and lack of playing time together. Last year took something away. Looked so promising then hamstring strain for Z turns into rest of the season. Brandon toe injury drags out two months. Hard to believe in this group anymore. Seems like most of assets from AD trade have been frittered away on numbskull picks and weird obsession with Dino-centers who can't play next to Zion, who never plays anyway. Just hard to see path to contention as we are going...

We're on a 3 game skid. Looking at the schedule we could be in for a nosedive if they don't figure it out quick. We could lose a lot of games in the next couple of weeks.

Minnesota
Sacramento
Sacramento
Clippers
@Utah

Philadelphia

I think we're in some serious trouble. This could be similar to that 10 game losing streak that destroyed our season last year.
