No, dont trade our 1st unless you out lottery protections on it, which no team will take because they know we will be in the lottery

disagree, IF you know what the BOS offer is.
pels pick will be mid-round, not ideal.
slap a top-4 protection on it, package with moore or niko and go get a cost and years-controlled player

When that explosiveness goes away, what are you left with?
A smarter Julius Randle? Until then you have a smarter Julius Randle that plays above the rim?

As of now we have a top 10 pick.. it's only going to get better

I agree, if you know what the Boston offer is.
We aren't rebuilding, we are trying to get better.

For the 1st overall pick. As the centerpiece of trading Anthony Davis.

I agree, I'm all in on a Boston deal.

I totally disagree. Shooting is a premium in the NBA more so than when Lebron came into it.
You actually agree with his point.
Would be great if Zion could shoot from the perimeter, but it doesn't matter as much if he can't shoot very well.
You can do what Milwaukee is doing with Giannis and spread the floor around him. like another poster said, perimeter creation surrounded by shooting is the name of the game. Traditionally it is a guard, but it doesn't have to be now that bigs are stretching the floor
15 years ago, Zion and Giannis would be playing next to slow, paint bound centers. Premium on shooting at all positions allow guys with their talents (Simmons too) to dominate

He may bust, but Zion is light years ahead of Randle as a prospect. This is ludicrous

He is going to be an elite defender who can guard 1-5 and rebound while also being able to create his own offense efficiently, distribute, and get to the line.
He is going to be a stud. To me he’s the best prospect since AD because he is a freak athlete who has really high IQ and motor/work ethic.
How do you stop that guy from getting to the rim as he gets more space to operate in the NBA and continues to hone his handle? He’s 50 lbs heavier than Draymond and absurdly quicker/more athletic, but has great court vision and passing ability if you just swarm him, he’ll find the open man. He’s also great at the rim with the ability to absorb impact and finish with either hand.

I agree. I think he will be very, very good. I'd be more than happy with a Davis deal that lands #1 this summer

He’s also really easy to root for. Great personality. Ideally Zion is not in the AD deal. We get tatum in AD deal and Zion with our pick.

There's so much fanfare around Zion that I could see him deciding to stay in school rather than play for the lowly, small-market Pelicans...

Let's just hope Zion doesn't sign with Klutch.

Absolutely no chance whatsoever.
