May 12th might determine whether I continue to follow this team

If we can land top 3 in the lottery, I'll continue to follow the team. If we somehow miss out on any of the consensus guys, I think I'm giving up.
I could get behind a new core of
Murray
Hawkins
Top 3 Rookie
Herb
Trey
Missi
Jose
The rest of these clowns can get fricked, including Willie and Griff.

Yeah but there's always hope with a new "star." Ideally, we could get a foreign guy or a dude who isn't a total douche. Don't know much about Flagg but he's from Maine so I guess that's better than some dick that grew up in L.A.

There may be 5-7 impact-all star level prospects in this draft. There also may not be any "best player on a championship team" tier talents.

I love Jose, but he should not be a part of a core for a franchise that has significant winning aspirations.

I also think people need to come back to reality with Trey. Trey is not someone you can build around. He's a good complimentary piece, but I don't see him as a core piece.

I'm with you Ghost. I have tickets and can't find anyone to go with me to a single game. This team needs to land a top three pick, and move on from BI and Zion.

Harper would boost this team's trajectory so much. Kind of want him more than Flagg. But beyond those 2: Jakucionus, Edgecombe, Tre Johnson, and Bailey are the next tier, with Egor Demin in the mix. Edgecombe would be a fun add, got that dawg in em. Jakucionus could be nice, too.

If you get any top 5 pick in this draft you should be ecstatic. I can argue 6 guys in the class has franchise potential.

Best part of that core is we are likely picking top 5 again next year. Eventually, that is just the price we need to pay.
After Chris Paul we never drafted in the top 10 again.
After AD we never drafted top 5 again. We turned a 6 overall pick into Jrue and another 6 overall pick into Cousins.
And after Zion the Dyson Daniel’s pick is our only other “top” pick.
We are a team zero people will ever want to play for. We need multiple top pick in a row to ever do anything.
