He talks a good game.

For 5 years now, he hasn't really followed through with a single thing he's said regarding his basketball game.

The only real question remaining about this guy is: Is he being a lazy fat lard because he's stuck on the Pelicans, or is that just what he is?

I'm sure there are still a few teams that believe once he's freed from NOLA that he will suddenly start caring, but it's getting harder and harder to see that happening.

Guy will have made $1 million for every pound of body weight, all for a very mediocre basketball career

You know the second he gets traded somewhere like New York or Boston or LA he will all of a sudden dominate

I honestly believe he’s his own worst enemy. That being said- Griffin has completely failed in this organization to make him a star as well. They coddle him when he doesn’t need it. They make Ingram the star when from a talent perspective he isn’t a number one option. When opportunity comes to trade him and move on- they value him too highly. The coaching staff punishes other players for not playing defense while our star half the time doesn’t run back to cover his man. Its absolute nonsense from this team. He’ll get traded and a competent organization will get the best out of him and frankly the pelicans will be blamed even though a lot of it was Zions fault.

This has been the threat for years. When has that ever happened, where an underachiever languished for 5 seasons and then burst out after being traded? Like went from borderline all star to championship/franchise player.

I can't think of any, yet it's always brought up..

No doubt, which is why if we trade him, we need to value him as such.

If a team points to how he's played this season and doesn't want to give us a haul, that's fine. They just don't get Zion then.

They're not trading for Zion assuming they're getting this December's Zion, not many teams want that guy. They're trading assuming they can get 2022 December Zion, so they need to pay for that Zion.

Unstoppable to zion is using his right hand, which he has much more this season, and he sloppily added some dribble moves too.

To say he hasn't added anything isn't true. He just hasn't added enough.

Wish he has a eurostep and the ability to change speeds in the lane. That should have been the evolution of his game this year.

Zion is a unique case due to many of his missed seasons are due to injury. I firmly believe if he goes to a competent organization, uses him correctly and stays healthy- he’ll be a better player. In my opinion on the trade market hes pretty good buy low candidate.

He’s serviceable and if he had a real coach who maximized his rotations and ran plays for him, he’d average 30 points a game. Hes explosive and has a nice touch around the rim. Also, if he’d get in shape, he’d be Hall of Fame.

I mean he’s had a handful of right handed dunks sure lol, but he’s pretty much added nothing to his game
