Bingo. I think this is CJs last year here, whether that is to the end or at the deadline.

And I'm a huge CJ fan, but we need the cap space.

Damn. Rockets just had a monster draft. Thompson and Whitmore. Plus they have tons of money to spend..

Udoka has a lot to work with right away. Best young core in the league?

I didn’t want Leonard Miller at 14 because we had too many needs to take the risk, but in the mid-20s someone is getting a good value lottery ticket. He needs a lot of work but his measurables are great and people rave about his coach-ability

Us
OKC
Orlando
Spurs

What does Houston really have? I like Sengun. The LSU guys is ok.

Not a fan of their draft tonight.

Porter and Green are losing players. They kinda suck.

Kings trading 24 and Holmes to Dallas, wondering who Dallas is sending them

Scratch that, looks like a salary dump for Kings

This is what I’ve been saying. If there was any way for us to get a late pick, Miller would be a great fit for us as a backup big. I think he will be a highly productive backup.

So the Kings traded a 1st just to get off of Holmes? His contract is not that bad and he’s not a terrible player. We got off Graham who was owed more money for longer for 2nds and got a useful player back too. What the frick are the Kings doing?

I hate it but the Mavs are having a solid draft night

They probably want to bring Barnes back as well as Terence Davis.

I’m wondering if it’s the opposite and they intend to be a cap space team.

Smith, Green, Sengun, Eason, Thompson, Whitmore, Christopher, Washington, Garuda were all 1st round picks the past 3 years.

I'm not saying they are all stars or great rotational players. But that is a lot of young talent. Coaching has sucked. So it'll be interesting to see what Udoka can do with them..

Oh I fully understand it’s a cost cutting move, but you can’t tell me that it costs that much to get off a 12m contract for a player that can still be in a rotation. If they’re worried about the tax, you have till the middle of the year to get under it. It just screams cheap.

Yea could be. But I'll wait to see what they do with the cap space when Free agency rolls around. They could have a big fish in mind.

They can get down to nearly $100 million in the books. Kings could be a real FA player

I will bet anyone that Ben Sheppard who the pacers just took at 26 will be better than hawkins. Similar players but sheppard is superior at playing basketball and just went 26

Do you mind keeping your Hawkins complaints to one thread? By all means get out all your venting, but it’s stressing my OCD
