You mean diet Kawhi? Same great taste, friendlier contract!

Of our "Big 4", Zion is the only one I'd ever entertain trading.
BI, TM3, and Herb are absolutely lethal on the floor together.

I'm old enough to remember Pels Talk trying to trade him away

so you going to max him or Trey? Can’t do both.

Winning player. Should make an all nba team this year.

I'm all for keeping Herb and love his game, but he had a sophomore slump for a good bit of the season.
His 3pt shot that we need was at 32% before tonight. That has got to improve along with his slashing. His finishes in the lane have been the most interesting development. He's taking that 12 footer on drives a lot more and I love it.

If we’re a basketball team serious about winning, we’ll extend both.
Herb is extension eligible this summer (pretty sure) and IMO it would benefit both him and the team to lock in a solid but reasonable contract extension- maybe like 4 years/70 million or so.
We’ll have one more season before Trey can sign an extension. If he plays next year like he is this year…that’s probably a 20-25 million a year type of player. If he continues to improve, I could see him getting into Jordan Poole/Tyler Herro/Desmond bane territory around 30 mil a year.
Projecting a luxury tax line of $174M for the 2024-2025 season, this puts the Pels at
CJ: 33 Mil
Zion: 36 Mil
BI: 36 Mil
Larry: 11 Mil
Dyson: 6 Mil
Herb: 16 mil
Trey: 25 mil
Jose: 2 mil
That $166 Million for 8 players and we don’t have a starting center. We’re gonna be in the tax. Let’s pray Gayle pretends the luxury tax check is another Saints contract restructure

This made me laugh, but it's true
