It’s definitely deficient. The bench needs competent guard play (ie not Hawkins) and the big man rotation is subpar. Looney was a horrible signing. But Bey, Fears and queen have really been elevating the rest.

Queen with a 0 +/- in 38 minutes in an 8 point loss. That’s pretty indicative of how much of a winning player he is going to be when we have a real coach who won’t get us blown out every single 3rd quarter.

Trey and Herb have really let this team down. Perhaps they were unfairly overrated by a sad franchise looking for hope.
But these two guys simply aren’t playing up to what the pelicans thought they were, and that miss-assessment of these players is low key killing the team.

It's been a super letdown for both. This was a must win game. Murphy and Jones got outplayed by Sharpe and Avdija. Sometimes it's just about match ups. If Jones is supposed to be this defensive wizard, who'd he lock down tonight? They got destroyed..

So Zion and Poole are both pretending to be injured and Trey and Herb are both destroying their reputations and playing like arse on purpose bc of Willie Green? That's a rundown of what you have claimed the past week or so.

Let's get rid of all of them. High character, Winning players don't go 2-9 on purpose bc they simply dislike a coach. I think they all just suck at basketball personally. Zion sucks, plus he has shitty character. That's the only exception.

When players know they have no chance of winning anything significant because the coach sucks yes they will check out and give minimal effort.

Only low character players do that. We will need to clean house more than we think if that is how the majority of our roster operates.
