Zion played some good defense tonight. He didn’t force shots on offense. Played solid.

This exactly. He was doubled on every single touch tonight that didn’t come when he was at point, and even when he was at point he got doubled the second he came a few feet in the 3pt line

Sacramento completely sold out to stop Zion, and we burned them.

Could he have scored more points? Yea absolutely but they would have been less easy points than we got

There were two times Sabonis tried to post up Zion. Really moved his feet and held his ground. In the second half started rotating and contesting.

The unfortunate thing is he will get criticized, but it will be unwarranted, they doubled and tripled him as soon as he got the ball every time, and that opened up everything else for everyone else, which is just as important as Zion actually going off.

You’re certainly here to knight for him. Since you can’t bang on BI tonight you have to do something. Zion will always get other people easy shots, but his defense was terrible tonight and he passed up shots he needs to take. I won’t be surprised if he goes off for 30+ in Vegas. Tonight was not a great night for him, not terrible. But his teammates had his back. That’s what good teams need to do.

So I did see it right that Zion walked right off the court as the game ended?
Doesn't have to automatically mean some thing negative, but yes he did.

How the hell does BI look high as a giraffe's arse at the end of the game?

BI looks like a guy that would ask you for change for “gas money” outside the time saver and I’m here for it.

You can keep denying it all you want but this tournament has been a massive success. I honestly wasn’t sure it would be, but it has delivered.

He does it every game he doesn’t have an interview, half the team walks right off.

The few goofballs we have stay out celebrating with the interviewees.

He's yet to even concede these games are being played with a shite ton more intensity than any other regular season game. It's pretty weird.

You don't have to like it, that's fine. But it's weird to refuse to acknowledge the obvious.

I guess it's Zion hate night since BI played amazing and CJ played great. The Kings priority 1 was not to let Zion beat them plus you could tell this was Zion first taste of playoff basketball and he just not going to force it.

Consistency can be admirable I guess.
