Damn, that innocuous retweet comment really got under your skin
But hey, at least your anger got us to page 2.

Pels looked good tonight. Zion closed strong, we hit some big 3s to close it out down the stretch. We need more and more of these.
Why didnt Murray play? Thought he just came back

Probably playing vs the Suns. He probably is not cleared to play in back to back yet

checks nba standings...
yep.
its magical that it coincides with wantingness to get back on the court from an nba player with guaranteed contract.

Perhaps, but it also has to do with coming back to a team in contention vs. a team in the cellar. You're gonna be more cautious (both as a player and an organization) in the latter case.
Edit: misread your post. We're saying the same thing.

My point still stands and I agree that a player would work harder to get back to the court if the team is playing for something.
The question is which is better for the player. I wonder if there is any kind of study on it.
If the Pacers were a playoff team think Tyrese Haliburton would have been able to make it back this season?

So what are you implying? That Dejonte should have come earlier? To a team which season was already lost.
KD recovered for 18 months, Kobe for 8, but wasn't the same player.
Kyrie will recover more than a year from ACL, even though it was rumored he will be back in Dec/Jan.
Tatum has every reason to come back now, as Boston have a very good chance to finish 2nd.
